Does /lit/ enjoy the writing of the artist Miranda July?
Just finished reading "No one belongs here more than you", a collection of short stories and thought they were remarkably good.
What should I read next?

No One Belongs Here More Than You was one of the best books I read last year.
Edgar Keret writes in a similar vein, but with a flair for the surreal. The Girl on the Fridge is good.

I found them very hit or miss. Some were brilliant ("Something that Needs Nothing"), others were garbage ("Majesty"). I think she relies too much on a folksy, naivette to power her stories and that's a crutch if you want to put out consistently good work.
I like her as a writer, really dislike her as a film maker.
