I like to read at night after work. I work at a restaurant right by the water. I sit on a bench crack open my current book and just take it all in, my book, the sound of the waves, the saltwater smell in the air, nothing like it.

noon to 4 usually. i find it's easier after ihave just woken up
it is so fucking hard for me to concentrate and comprehend what I'm reading unless I do it in the morning/with my coffee
trying to read at night sucks for me

Same here. It's a nice way to begin a day. The coffee makes you energetic and optimistic while the book gives you a story to think about. Have some healthy, light food too and you're on the right track.

I don't really have concentration issues, but I sometimes have a weird inability to comprehend what I'm reading the way I normally do.
In this weird 'state,' I usually have to break down sentences into simpler terms to understand them. It gets annoying and makes me anxious about all the pot smoking I did for ~2 years.

10pm-6am
Night is the only time people don't distract me from reading. I don't read early in the morning because staying up late is easier than waking up early.
