Im in there like 3 days a week for 3 or 4 hours and its small so all the librarians can see me, theres like a kids room in there too so im scared that they are gunna think im some sort of child predator or something

I go there 2-3x a week for the 5 days it's open, for an hour or two to read the paper and pick up my holds. My library is small and the library staff always gossip about their patrons being idiots so I'd assume they do the same with me since I also look like shit when I go, and they probably have an idea that I'm a weirdo from my holds.

For example, my tips correspond to my enjoyment of the books. I like to give a little extra after a great read, to show thanks to the librarian. I do know others who tip based on how long they've had the book out, sort of as an apology for keeping it away for so long.
But really, there is no wrong way to tip! Eurofriends are always welcome in our libraries, just don't forget a "cheeky fiver" for the people who work so hard for you.
