Like it doesn't sound like them just trying to think of what to say, it's like it's an legitamate rule that "uh" needs to be added after every line.

Slam poetry has no structure whatsoever. The content is often vapid and consistently opaque, so the delivery of the material is the only unique aspect of slam poetry remaining. And even that is utterly banal...repeated in a nearly identical fashion by every performer.
