Essentially you're right, but if it's resemblance to Dada works of painting/sculpting OP looks for, it has to be more than just gibberish. More like incredibly absurd stories that use alot of existing, non-artistic texts (quotes from newspapers, catalogs and such).
This is my perspective at least, I don't really know alot of Dadaist literature.
