Hey /lit/ what are some good poems that explore the theme of violence. I've read a lot of novels that deal with the various manifestations of violence and I would like to read some poetry. Whether it is violence against the self, other people, nature or society. I'd appreciate any recommendations

Then one drinks his blood as one licks his wounds; and during this time, which ought to last for eternity, the child weeps.”
That's "The songs of Maldoror"... The translations are usually in prose, but it is originally a poem.

hahaha it's been a while
Baudelaire's "Flowers of Evil" talks a lot about violence too, and is a very important book for any lover of poetry. You can read his prose-poems too (this one is very famous: https://100thmonkeypress.com/biblio/acrowley/downloads/translations/glazier/glazier.pdf)
