Most other English bibles are translated from the King James, and watered down. There are some scholarly ones from the last 100 or so years that are, in fact, more accurate than the KJV, but the KJV is a beautiful book and I think it should be everyone's primary bible. I use the Douay-Rheims and a couple of others for reference when I feel I really need to interpret closely a passage.
Do any of you anons know where I can get a pocket-sized, KJV Bible that includes both the Old and New Testaments at a cheap price?

Well the last thing I'm honestly concerned with is the beauty of the translation. I don't think the NASB is an ugly a translation as people make it out to be, and I prefer it for being the most literal translation we have and for using the most reliable manuscripts available. The KJV is okay for the most part, but it'll probably never be my primary on account of its source material being the TR.

We actually have one at my work for 6 bucks and the print is a decent size also. Its just a discount clothing store called Citi Trends, so if we have one then certainly you could find one in the local Christian store.
I have a Luther 1545 remake. One of the greatest works of literature in the whole language. Nearly made me protestant again.
Other than that I have several versions the main one I use is a small bulky catholic translation. Pic related
