Anyone read this?
Thoughts, concerns?
It's a study in sociology by Émile Durkheim. And it's called 'Suicide'.
Just my two cents. Now do me a favor and just read the fucking book.

If Ivy League courses are on the internet why is going to college still a thing?
>>7360991
Thanks.
>>7361002
Only a handful of them are.
>>7361002
because college is a form of conspicous consumption to display your wealth and also to network with other members of your social class...college essentially functions as a sort of caste system in america, it's not for learning.
>>7361008
have you watched all of the Yale classes yet? there more of them online than there are credits in a degree
>>7361008
learn to count humanities turd
http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/
>>7361028
Yes, but they don't follow a long logical sequence like an actual degree would. Obviously, plenty of courses are missing.
>>7361042
there are enough humanities courses there to cover a degree
>>7361042
how many of them have you watched so far? oh thats right, none because you're a community college tier student who watches anime all day, kill yourself
>>7361050
>who watches anime all day,
Not that anon but this is a bit of a weird projection on /lit/ of all places. We're not exactly big anime fans around these parts.
>>7361150
bullshit, i've seen this place descend into stupid anime chatter enough times to know half of you fags are cartoon watching homos

I think is great example of what a sociological study is. A sort of defining case, interesting in methodological terms, but I don't think the conclusions are very profound in terms of what suicide actually means as a societal phenomenom. Love the anomie part though.
