All of you worried about the draft need to look more closely on their rules for accepting trans recruits.
You have to prove that you have completed your transition and get a letter from a doctor saying that you've been psychologically stable for at least 16 months or something.
The last thing is basically a catchall for all trans people desu. We're still not allowed in. This is just a way for the military to look more progressive and try to improve its image without actually changing much of anything.

A country like ours should be powerful in all respects, a strong and obedient military is part of that. If you dislike the actions that are being carried out by the military, or want to change the overall direction we are going as a country, that is a problem to be brought to the political establishment. The military should be powerful and do as it is directed in any case. Many soldiers I have known have dissenting political opinions, and also function as good soldiers.
It is a bit deluded or idealistic to go for the whole "it was 4 ur freedums," thing though. It's egotistical. It's like a hammer saying "I built the house you sleep in, i keep you safe," when perhaps in reality it was the hammer being driven through someone's face, and not one that was involved in the construction of the particular home of whomever was being addressed.
