You know when you go to a rock concert... or more accurately, watch rock concert footage on youtube and there's that point in the middle of the show were they start doing solos? Not a guitar solo in a song but the solo itself as a song. The singer walks off the stage and the guitar player does his thing and then the drummer. Then finally the bass player does his bass solo: up on stage, alone; making all these odd contorted faces and silly motions. Frantically moving about and emitting these weird inhuman sounds on an instrument that was never designed for doing this type of stuff. All the while, the audience looks on in a combination of disgust and bemusement and the whole event goes on longer than it should have for everyone's comfort level. That is my sex life.
