Have any of you gay guys ever dated a man of prestige such as a doctor, lawyer, cop, or soldier?

What was it like? Does it make you feel safer being with them? Were they tops? Was the concept hot? What was/is your job and how did your soldier/cop/doctor/lawyer boyfriend regard your profession?

>lawyer, cop, soldier

lmfao
>>
>>6397276
Who do you consider to be of prestige?
>>
>>6397323
CEOs, the President, White guys
>>
>man of prestige
>cop, soldiers

only in america people are respected for belonging to a group of people who senselessly beat up/kill others just because someone told them to.
>>
>>6397323
Soldiers are only "of prestige" at ranks of Captain and above. Cops are never fucking of prestige, they're barely blue collar+
>>
>>6397326
This tbqh
I am dating a surgeon and I love it. I homemake for him and feed him and offer myself as his sexual object whenever he wishes. He is at work all day, so I get to hang out and play :3
>>
>>6397344
The cops protect usand keep us safe and the troops defend our freedoms, you have no respect.
>>
>>6397407
Pretty sure you just replied to a negro. Only BLM type people think the police are out to murder innocent people
>>
>>6397407
>Cops protect anything
Hello, closetfag
>Troops defend our freedom
You might as well say lumberjacks are of prestige because they do something that seems important when they're ultimately employed servants.

The Help is not of prestige.

Every job is noble, because without the person who puts the cans on the grocery shelves you go hungry, without the pizza maker you go hungry, we as a society are a pyramid and those at the bottom are just as important as those on the top because we support one another.
>>
>>6397390
>not sergeant
Even though getting promoted isn't that difficult, its still hard. I mean im only an E-2 but still being an officer isn't that prestigious. How about a soldier that experienced combat.
>>
>>6397344
I don't usually refute this, but some soldiers put their life on the line for people like you. They sign up and go into combat to protect the united states. Its not senselessly also, we know what we're doing, if we think something is wrong, we can talk to someone higher in command. So don't be disrespectful.

I would be honored to date a soldier. I would loved to be married in a military style wedding.
>>
>>6397541
Some of your soldiers do protect you. Some of your police-officers are righteous people serving the law.
And some of your soldiers hassle/hurt civilians just because they're Iraqi or begging for something, etc., some of your police officers beat up or kill minorities and destroy property just for fun or because they can't keep their cool.

But most of you are brainwashed to treat *all* of them like heroes. Just like >>6397407 you repeat what was told to you since elementary.

I'm not trying to offend here, maybe it's my cultural background (white german here) but I never got why you would think of soldiers that high.
______

An american soldier in uniform without any notable badges of merit walks into a bar.
>In America, people would pay for his drink.
>In Europe, people would shun him.

This is not a joke.
>>
>>6397597
>This is not a joke.
Overpaid, overfed, oversexed and over there. US enlisteds have the worst fucking discipline.
>>
>>6397541
Lol, soldiers nowadays are not protecting US. They're doing it for money. You can't tell me all of these peace missions in Africa are to keep Americans safe. No, they want their land and resources. I have respect for soldiers who truly protect the country but there hasn't been a war that directly threatened USA in a long time.

Stop glorifying murderers.
>>
>>6397276
Well lawyer is of prestige, it's a long education with lots of cash that's associated with high society. doctor is like the only other education that is immediately more associated with upper class.
>>6397526
sergeant is the manager at the local 7eleven equivalent of soldiers. it's certainly nice for them, but it's hardly a prestige.
>>6397412
>BLM is retarded so cops are not corrupt assholes
God people like you suck, you always have to take a reasonable counterculture so far that it becomes as dumb as the thing you were against.

Dated a psychologist for a while. He practiced and also taught at a famous east coast school. Outside the bedroom he was just a regular guy.

But when I was with him he wouldn't let me wear my glasses and didn't want to kiss. Go figure.

>But when I was with him he wouldn't let me wear my glasses and didn't want to kiss.
Why

What's his name maybe he's taught me?
>>
>>6397265
I want to date a cop, a motorcycle cop who works outside in the heat, and everyday when he comes home from work he pulls of his rank boots and make me inhale his boot stink, and then peel the sweaty socks off his feet and put them in my mouth and suck the sweat out and then lick his feet clean of all sweat, sock lint, and toe jam deposits.
>>
>>6397627

>But most of you are brainwashed to treat *all* of them like heroes.

Or treat all of them as racist/homophobic shitbags.
>>
Well this all devolved quickly. How about this thread just be about when a person experiences a relationship with someone who they believe is prestigious. This can be any job or title that the anon in question feels a certain awe towards due to what they are doing in life.

For example a lot of people don't think of lab workers or contractors as prestigious but a person who grew up with a dad who worked as a contractor might think of it as a prestigious position.

Or we can just devolve into squabbling about the necessity for war and how cops are or aren't killers.
>>
>>6397627
Doing it for the money, really now? A private or even a specialist gets less than minimum wage in most states. Even though its based on a salary and you're working 24/7 its still less than minimum wage. No we don't do it for the money you shit. We do it for college and for you guys. Why are you guys so against the army when there are so many lgbt people going in, including myself.
>>
>>6400354
Ive never been in a relationship yet sadly I was interested if anyone else had and everyone was talking about who is prestigious or not so I joined in spreading the cancer.

>>
>>6401742
That's actually not true, psychological studies have shown the phrase
>birds of a feather flock together

to be much more true than opposites attract,

The opposites attract meme is just romantic comedy bullshit.
>>
>>6397526
>How about a soldier that experienced combat.

I wouldn't consider that prestigious. That's just bad luck for that particular soldier. And they tend to have a fuckton of baggage to boot. There's a certain amount of prestige/respect I would have for a "professional" soldier like a green beret or a navy seal who's been deployed on several dangerous, high-stakes missions. But even then I doubt I'd date them - seems like you'd have to lose a good chunk of your humanity to do that job. Most soldiers I know who've made a career out of the military have pretty big chips on their shoulders anyway - not my type of man.
>>
>>6401648

Literal failures unless they're counterterrorist/hostage rescue or spec ops respectively. And no, the rangers don't count as spec ops.
>>
I'm dating a detective. I've known him ever since we were kids. I've had a crush on him for just as long. Our family were family friends and we got to be friends because of it.
He's a little strange in social situations. Not awkward, more like he doesn't really know how to lie. He was brought up in a very strict background, so if someone were to "Does this dress make me look fat?" He'd probably say yes if he thinks it does. Then go ahead and give tips on how to lose weight and think there is nothing wrong with doing it.
Because of it, he hasn't had a lot of friends, but I've known him so long it doesn't bother me. In fact, I find it endearing.

We started dating last year. We're both 28, so he's really, really young for being a detective. Youngest in his department. And we started dating last year. Just as he got promoted to detective after he passed his examination.
As for the general questions;
>Does it make you feel safer
Yes. He has actually protected me on multiple occasions from drunks or random ass holes trying to mug me.
>Were they tops?
Yes. I'm the first guy he's been involved with. That being said, he was never one for relationships, and I'm pretty sure I'm his first ever. It's not that he's ugly, in fact, he's really damn attractive and super fit. He was just never interested in dating or romance. So I figured it'd be easier if I bottom, which to be honest, I prefer.
>Was the concept hot?
Not really. Though At the same time, kinda. See "Does it make you feel safer"
>What was/is your job and how did your soldier/cop/doctor/lawyer boyfriend regard your profession?
I run and own a cafe. It was originally my parents, but they gave it to me because I loved it when they retired. He likes it. He comes there everyday to drink coffee and says he wished he could run something so comforting.

Anymore questions? (Not American by the way, so American Law questions are out of my area)
>>
>>6397265
Lesbian here, so you're not asking me, but I did date a lawyer a while back. She was a prosecuting attorney specializing in white collar crime like fraud and embezzlement. She was one of those classic dominant in the workplace, but needs to be submissive in the bedroom types, which worked for me. I'm an optical scanner operator at a miltary weapons production plant, and she seemed fine with it, not impressed or disappointed.
>>
>>6403318
Fuck, she sounds hot. I love the "business woman on the streets, submissive bitch in the sheets" archetype so much.
>>
>>6397877
I didn't ask. The glasses? I'm not sure. Funny thing is I'm blind as a bat so I'd always stumble into his house/office when we met.

But kissing I think he felt it was too personal (yeah, like sliding his fat cock up my ass isn't very personal).

Funny thing is I had decided to break up with him for other reasons and we fucked the night before and he actually kissed me and said he liked it. WTF?
>>
>>6401702
Are you fat? Do you have low self-esteem? Are you comfortable being alone romantically?

>>6397526
Being a soldier only takes discipline. Give me an officer any day. Somebody who has to handle responsibility.
>>
>>6403945
Wtf, you think only officers have to handle responsibility? They don't have to handle shit, they just handle their own MOS. A sergeant has to take care of privates and make sure that they don't kill themselves or anyone else. Sergeants bring in the next generation of soldiers. Officers get an amazing increase in pay but they don't do as much.
>>
>>6403075
I'm going to pride, so if you're going there ill see you.
>>
>>6404204
>Wtf, you think only officers have to handle responsibility?
This thread talks about prestige, you're basically whining that being the military
equivalent of a blue collar foreman isn't as respected as a function fit for the aristocracy. Nobody is saying it's not somehow responsibility, it's just not that prestigious.
>>
>>6403295
thats the cutest thing ive ever heard

>ywn solve mysteries with your socially awkward uke detective childhood friend
>>
>Job of prestige
Falling for jew tricks, do what you enjoy, not because others look up to it
>>
>>6403945
Not that guy but literally the exact same situation. Going for biophysics.

No, although I've gotten chubby as of late so I need to get back on my work out schedule. I hate myself yes. Yes I am although I do like sex. Why ask these things?

>>6403295
That's so sweet it makes me feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. How did you guys transition from life-long friends to lovers?
>>
>>6403295
I love this, thats so adorable and sweet
>>
>>6404350
I understand your point, I still don't agree because I respect the hell out of sergeants. I can see where you're coming from though. I think an E-5 and up is more prestigious than an officer especially a lieutenant, or a 2nd lieutenant, in the matter of respect.
>>
I am a psychologist in a three-way relationship with another psychologist and a surgeon... does that count?
Usually, they don't make me feel safer, I make them feel safer. Both of them are not really confident.
However, they work way more than me and earn more money. I usually wake up woth them, make them breakfast, do housework... sometimes, I feel like a proud dad seeing my little daughters off in the morning, and at other times I feel like dominating both of them

Where's that anon who went on a date with Anderson Cooper? Saw his story ages ago; it would go great in this thread.
