I think I have some kind of undiagnosed dyslexia. I think as a child I was just crazy interested in letter shapes and figuring out all the hidden spelling rules in English so I didn't notice it early on. Spelling rules was like a weird game to me. I can't spell anything outloud though. I had to take 3 pauses yesterday to spell a 6 letter word outloud. It's like my brain jumps around in the word.
But I've always had crazy number dyslexia. The only reason I could keep prices straight is because they always end in 99 (thanks America) and from the type of item I can reason the order of the other numbers usually. Codes are an absolute clusterfuck. Phone numbers were okay until everyone got cell phones and then the first 3 numbers had to have a mnenomic too. I remembered my friend's numbers in high school by singing the last four digits.

House numbers that are 4 digits are shit. To this day I still can't keep my grandmother's house number straight and she's lived there for 30 years because it's like 4609 or 4906 or 4960. I think it's the 6 and 9. I can't remember the shape of the whole number.
