I know friend-zoning is an extremely shitty part of heterosexual culture, but being on the receiving end of it sucks. I'm so hung up on a guy though I've asked him out and he declined me politely (dating someone else at the time). We've grown closer as friends and just found out he's single again and dating. I don't think I'm on his radar. I'm so frustrated about it. I'm trying hard not to be a shithead, but letting to of that desire for more is HARD. Why am I so bad at this :-(

yeah, it happens and it's shit but there really isn't anything you can do apart from stopping seeing the guy or dating someone else.

In the best case scenario, you have a boyfriend. In the worst case scenario, he rejects you and maybe stops hanging out with you (which usually seems to be better because you don't have to think about him anymore)

So about a week ago I told my best friend that I really like him in a really gay way. I think it's a dumb term he basically friendzoned me (and i'm okay with that). But since then he's been talking to me more than usual and a couple of days ago he messaged me on skype at 4am to tell me that he thinks he might be bi and he is kind of attracted to me.

I don't think I've ever been friendzoned, though I had to do it to a guy recently. We had the same Spanish class together. He's very nice, but definitely not my type, and I really don't find much attractive about him at all.
