what do people in the real world actually do for fun? I'm 22 years old. I've never got my dick wet or held someone's hand, or kissed anyone. I actually just spend a lot of time listening to classical music and shit posting on forums and working out every once and a while. Idk what to actually do to have fun, I feel like I'm living life on auto pilot. What do people actually do in their free time that's fulfilling? I just have this idea that I feel is a naive idea, that if I were to just have sex that I would finally be able to feel fulfilled in life. I don't just want to go have sex with some random stranger though, that sounds extremely unfulfilling. I just keep getting this feeling of emptiness in my life, really the only thing that keeps me from being depressed is having hope for the future, which is a completely arbitrary thing you can turn on and off in your brain, it doesn't always work though. It's something you have to train yourself to do.

They work, lol
>>
>>6158421
That's what I'm afraid of.
>>

Im also 22 and we mostly work. That and get high or drunk. The social aspect is what drives most people. Just living day to day, going to work (and complaining about it) then going home and realize you'd rather be at work and everything tends to get real boring real fast if your not constantly drunk, high, or engaged in some form of hobby that constantly distracts you (usually fucking). THIRSTY THURSDAY!!! WOHOO!!! ect...
>>
Do you remember when you were a kid and you thought something like, wow I'd love to ride a race car one day. But you were just a kid and you didn't have a race car so you thought, ok I'm just gonna build a car from the stuff I find around.
And even if it looked like shit, even if it couldn't drive you thought of that car, you drew that car, you dreamed of that car. Maybe you even looked up cool cars in books or on the internet, and cut them out or printed them out and plastered them on your walls or in a book.
Maybe that made you start thinking about engines or why they said that cars have horsepower, or something. You allowed your ideas to flow into each other, so that one thought led you to another thing.

That's the sense of childhood that you need to never, ever let go. Even if you have lost it you can get it back, and when that piece clicks into place again you'll smile just from waking up because you know you'll have one more day to do things.
>>
>>6158570
wow, that sounds fucking stupid. how do you have so much sex?
>>
>>6158618
oh nigga i dont. Only really good looking people i know have sex alot, but they also go to alot more parties than me. I do flirt a shitload with everygirl i know, and black girls have a thing for me, but they always say shit like "yo can't handle this". After socializing alot, flirting and talking to people gets real easy and real fun.

I get depressionbux and am considering giving them up for a significantly higher paying job.

But the free time depressionbux gives me is nice too.

I like to work out, play video games, watching anime, cook new shit, I play TCGs, I volunteer at an animal shelter, and hang with a few people.

I'm considering getting into hiking and urban exploration.

You niggas make me happy that I lost my virginity to a bf at 18 years.
>>
>>6158415

Most people hang out with other people, or so I've noticed. I'm 23 and basically in the same spot as you. The fact that I've graduated college and still haven't figured this shit out is even more depressing.
>>

I'm glad I made you happy

First you must tell me where you live.
>>
>>6158415
Since you're somewhat of a self described homebody, watch a few movies: Life of Walter Mitty, The Art of Travel (2008) and Hector and the Search for Happiness.

They all have one thing in common: To appreciate a good life, you must first experience life.

No matter your age, live life. Be uncomfortable. Be silly now and then. Be cautious. But experience it. Have a game plan, a time line and a budget. You're 22. Life happens when you happen. So get out of your head, get in a plane, train, or cab and take it all in. Now is a great time to do it. Take a job in Australia farming. Take a job in your state in a skilled trade as a part timer. But get out and live life. You have until your mid to late 20s to truly work seriously in a career path.
>>
>>6169470
no I'm not gonna move to australia and be a fucking farmer, jesus christ.
>>
>>6169470
>Take a job in Australia farming
Aussie farmers have a habit for killing themselves

no thanks

>That's the sense of childhood that you need to never, ever let go.

You're way too smart for this narcissistic board, anon.

I agree with you 10000% and honestly, I feel like sexuality has ruined much of the joy of that childhood wonder, because it suddenly placed a perpetual, unfulfillable goal in the way of living one's life and following one's dreams.

>Take a job in Australia farming.
and get killed by a poisonous spider on my first day? Sign me up!
>>
I fix cars and bikes, drive cars and bikes, read books, enjoy the sun.

Nothing else really, I work too which is decent and gets me out and about.

I've got no hope for the future, I've already concluded there's fuck all hope for me so I'm just a dead shell walking. /edge
>>
>>6173874
maybe I could be your future
>>
>>6173878
Maybe so anon, I need to actually get out there and try to find a bf. Its hard to find guys I really click with though, I've got a lot of varied interests but mechanics and reading are my most passionate. I just seldom find guys into it, never a gay guy anyway.
>>
>>6173938
I'd really like a bookworm bf who could fix my car
>>
>>6174014
Well then hopefully we can come to some form of arrangement~

>way too smart
Sense of childhood meme is the most memetic piece of advice you can give to someone. It's pure demagogy, it's not smart in any way.
