Okay so it's time to break the pattern and actually give some advice.
Carrots, lots of carrots. These will alter your skin-tone to be a little more orange and make you look healthy. Healthy is sexy.
Avocadoes is great for smooth skin.
Collagen-supplementation makes your skin milky smooth as well.
Coconut water is good due to the minerals and electolytes which causes your body to retain more water which in turn gives you a fuller looking skin and general plumpness. It's also great because it's antiinflammatory which keeps your belly flat.
Ginger and curcumin is also highly antiinflammatory.

Normally I eat like this
6 am two slices of toast with butter
1 pm whatever is eatable at University canteen
8pm maybe two slices of toast with butter again

I mostly drink water, eat a hand full of sweets every day and drink a smoothie every second day.
I definitely could cut the sweets, what could I eat on bread? Nearly everything has fat and or sugar.

/fit/ reporting, been studying food, and dieting on amateur level for about 5yrs now. Best diet completely depends on your goals.

If you are trying to MAINTAIN or LOSE weight:

- The most important thing to remember is that it is all about caloric intake vs output, no exercise burns more calories than a fork putdown

- Determine your TDEE with a BMR calculator. Just put in your stats, and do not add any bonuses for activity. If you are cutting eat 500 - 1000 Cal below that number, if you are trying to maintain then eat at that number. If you find after a couple of months that you are losing more weight than you are comfortable with then you can always increase your caloric consumption.

If you are trying to GAIN weight:

- The advice is basically the same as above except inverse. Determine your TDEE and then eat above it between 500 - 1000 Calories per day

- Gaining weight is easiest by using high carb stuff like cake, pies, or doughnuts. Make sure you do 1-2hrs of cardio 4-5x per week so that your fat gain is proportional and not all on your waistline.

General Tips:

- Cut any liquid that is not plain water out of your diet.

- Stay away from grains. Eat minimally processed meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts when at all possible this will give you optimal digestion, adequate vitamin/mineral intake, and stable blood sugar

- If you are cutting or maintaining stay away from grain based sweets (cookies, cakes, etc) and eat things like chocolate or candy coated nuts instead

- If you have problems not feeling full, add more vegetables, literally fill your stomach with broccoli, spinach, or kale until you no longer have the urge to eat.

- Physical activity suppresses appetite

- Dont follow meme diets (vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, etc) most "program" diets are deficient in one area or another. Nothing can beat a correctly portioned diet of minimally processed meats, fruits, vegetables, and nuts in the long term.

- Prepare your food in advance. You are much more likely to stick with your diet if you have your food at hand and ready to go. If that means cooking your meat once or twice per week and wrapping fresh fruit and vegetables up every few days then do it, get it done before you go to bed so that everything is ready to go for the next day. Preparation is the foundation of success.

- Consider changing to an Intermittent Fasting eating pattern, basically eat 2 large meals per day, to help control cravings and overeating.

- Dont bring items not on your diet into your home. Simply put dont buy stuff at the store that is not in your diet. Dont take leftovers from events that are not in your diet, etc. Its a lot easier to never eat cookies if you never have any cookies to begin with.

- If you are temporarily forced to eat outside of your diet make smart choices. Most grocery stores sell whole rotisserie chickens and pre-made salads, most fast food places sell salads or side salads, remove the bun from your burger, etc.

But yes, soy-products works for estrogen. If you're pre-HRT you can always also supplement with pueraria mirifica, it's pretty effective actually.
As for calories I wouldn't outright avoid carbohydrates, just make sure they're not empty ones like sugary stuff. Health is sexy. ;)

I can second this stuff being easily and cheaply doable. It'll suck at first but once you learn what to buy and how to quickly prepare it you'll wonder why you didn't make the change years ago.

Buy frozen vegetables if you tend to let things spoil or just can't be bothered with washing, peeling and chopping. Don't buy frozen potato products though. Those nearly always have bad things added.

If you can't be bother with checking for rocks or cooking it canned beans are more costly and often have preservatives added but highly convenient. Even with the preservatives they're still far better for you than the typical heavily processed western diet.

Low carb prevents insulin spike which helps curb appetite. It's losing weight on easy mode.
As long as you control yourself when easing off the low carb then there's no reason for you to suddenly balloon out. Getting back on carbs will on the other hand cause you to retain more water weight. Is this what you mean by the weight being 'instantly' replaced? Because if it is then you haven't lost any weight you have just dehydrated your body for a period of time.

Every time someone asks why their HRT isn't working, it's because they smoke. I'm not sure if you could switch to vaping and be fine though. Regardless, quitting would be in your best interest for a multiple of reasons :P
