laser hair works best for people with light skin and dark hair... she has dark hair with dark skin tone, so she is not really the best candidate for laser. most likely she is having electrolysis done, which takes a long time since it is follicle by follicle treatment. she may also have body hair she is removing in addition to the facial hair which is a lot of area to cover.
