>pass great w/o mones
>hrt would greatly help
>not sure if cool with hrt for the rest of my life
is there a point where the effects are permanently set and I can get off hrt?
or at least reduce my dosage
you can stop spiro once you get your balls removed, but you'll need a source of estrogen for most of your life. it can be less since it doesn't need to compete with T+spiro.

Whether or not you will look good later on in life is an uncertainty. Some win, some lose.

bleh.
so many people tell me to get on hrt, and i know i should
and i know i'm trans
but i worry constantly about fertility and functionality.
i know i can bank sperm, but the banks we've looked into here are expensive
just hope i'm not trading a healthy lifestyle for vanity, you know?

if it's just vanity, then don't do it. just think about the long-term effects of testosterone on the body, and if it's something you can't accept, then that's when you should start hrt.

Sounds like you should find some testimonials (heh, testes) about the effects on sex drive etc. Here I found this but I dont know how helpful it will be

i can't accept it
..but it's hard to trade essential things.
i'm sure it's not for just vanity, but the only things that will change are my looks.

that's not even close to true. hormones affect a fuck ton of things, don't just throw pills in your body if you don't know what they do.

appreciate the link anon, calming and straightforward.
good to know viagra is an alternative as well when the going gets tough.
as for fertility i read
>I've heard stories of transwomen going off hormones after years of HRT and starting sperm production up again, but it's not guaranteed.
I've heard about cycling hormones a lot to kind of preserve cum. But wouldn't that be hard on the body?
>>5862910
i know it'll soften skin, lower libido, fluctuations in my brain chemicals, etc. i know all the things it'll do for *me*
but will it be worth not having a kid? spending thousands on sperm banking/hair removal?
i know these are questions to ask myself but bleh, i can never seem to push the envelope.
i'm just in constant worry that i don't know it's a phase and i'm fucking myself hard in the future.

how long has it been going on already? why exactly do you wish to get on hormones? also how much facial hair do you have right now?

"the rest of your life" is less then 10 years
