What do you think of trans people who choose to not try to "identify" as the opposite sex or change their outward appearance as to convince people they are a member of the opposite sex?

They have different priorities and levels of comfort. It doesn't necessarily invalidate their existence.
I feel bad for the ones who are in denial about their desire to transition or are afraid of the consequences of coming out.

it's kind of a slippery slope; they don't have to be totally feminine in every way, but if they're, hypothetically, not trying AT ALL then fuck them. very few people in my experience are like that though. usually they're just oblivious and autistic.

I don't do shit to convince others, I do it to be comfortable with myself. People's acceptance of me is not unrelated to my dysphoria, but it's not at all the primary factor. To me, anyway.
As for people who have neither changed anything about themselves (be it hormones, surgically, through dress or whatever) nor do they intend to - I don't get how they identify as trans.

I think they don't care about gender norms. I find trans people to be the most sexist assholes that exist, they really get ruffled when you don't conform to the gender roles they have hinged their identity on mimicking.

I think there's a distinction that needs to be made here.
Gender dysphoria is something that seems to manifest really early in life. That is the psychological condition. That is what some people think others have.
Being trans is about willingness to change your sex because of your gender dysphoria.
All trans in theory should have gender dysphoria.
But not everyone with gender dysphoria may necessarily become trans or be willing to transition. Maybe because it's just not strong enough or they just know it's an absolute lost cause. Or maybe they've repressed it for so long they've started a family who they don't want to ruin.

neither. although our chromosomes don't match our gender, our brain chemistry/nuerology does. if someone has the mind if a woman, she is a woman regardless of outer appearance. men and women do have different brains, that doesn't mean men are stronger than women, just different. if your brain is 60% woman and 40% man it means your a woman.
