Do a memorial at home instead. Maybe visit the grave if you can. I lost three partners, I was in a quad, and I didn't get to mourn for years. Setting aside time to personally mourn them really helped.
Another thing you may wish to check is your relationship attachment style. Loosing mom at such a young age can cause problems with friendships and relationships later in life.
