try not to tuck it behind your ears, thats a subtle "girl" thing. shave sideburns to a flat end so that it looks more like you shave that whole area - naturally grown, soft girl sideburns are obvious. part it either as far back as you can (to give appearance of a further-back hairline) or cover your hairline entirely (to leave it to the imagination). thats all i can think of rn

>>
>>5801341
Females have softer skin than males, so T does change the texture a bit but I think what you're noticing is mostly due to the second image of him being a lot sharper than the first. So we can see the details of his face better such as his acne which is exacerbated by T anyway.

How to pull off pierced ears? I have both ears done and I'm considering getting fake plugs but that might be the epitome of assholery. The only dudes I ever see with both ears pierced are dudes with plugs.
>>
>>5801472
i have my firsts stretched to a 4g and i just wear plain steel tunnels or carved horn in them, but in my seconds i wear 14g horseshoe barbells, and have worn captive bead rings before. i think anything that would go in a typical body piercing would work.
>>
>>5801472
Pass first. Don't wear those awful plugs, keep piercings minimal and asymmetrical.
>>
>>5801472

Most people are not going to notice that your ears are pierced on the first glance, and if they do, will think you wear man jewellery in them. Steel and bone and black plastic things in guy ears is more and more common.

Depends on the severity of your issue. Talk with a doctor about it, and no one uses pill form of T anyway.
>>
>>5802113
Oh, I have something sort of similar to that. I was told by another trans friend last week that it's too girly/long though. Then again, I do pass for the most part, so I guess it's not that bad. If you have a feminine face, you might want to be careful with it though.
>>
>>5802140
Mine is round-ish, but, not too feminine, at least. PCOS and thick eyebrows kind of helped me in the long run, heh.
>>
>>5802148
Guess you should be alright then. Thick eyebrows are great, I always feel kind of sad for people who have eyebrows so thin they're barely there. Not sure what shape my face even is, but it's definitely not very masculine. I guess my face is kind of neutral or something, since I can make a good looking girl and a good looking (young) boy. Either way, it works out well for me, so whatever.

>>
>>5803306

Dynamics of fighting aren't really studied much outside of military psychologists, and I doubt I'd need to tell you how popular they are. Honestly from what I've read, coming to actual blows over something (at least, while sober) is a real rarity statistically. If it happens often for an individual outside of circumstances like spaing or military work, it is indicative of something.

I can't quite remember what it is, but fight/flight is only relevant for inter-species conflict, intra-species is more focussed on pose/submit(or appeasement), but fight/flight still being 2 further options that are simply considered less often.

But I dunno man. It's an interesting topic to study but it's desperately under studied, and what is studied is usually in regards to criminology so it can be mired in a lot of political and lawspeak.

If that's true, then why do Muslims kill gays? It seems like your ignoring a whole lot of human behavior. In war, do people just wave their guns at one another until one side lays down and spreads their butt cheeks?
>>
>>5803542

tl;dr Something something dehuminisation something something deindividuation.

Consider it like this. In the military, servicemen are trained to kill. They shoot at human shaped targets, they're put in combat situations for practice, they're taught how to kill essentially. If you have a culture which is defined in part by the fact that "they are not people and they must die" then it seems almost natural to them that they must die.

Plus the executions are almost always public. Even in the US there are public galleries for executions. If everyone is there looking for and expecing there to be death, what do you think is going to happen?

I could also talk about methods of killing, about how there is a far flung difference between pulling a lever to hang someone and actual beheadings done by someone, but then I'd have to talk about the prevailence of psychopathy and so on. It's complex and hazy, but the signs are all there.
>>
>>5803542

Why do western societies let thousands of people die on the streets each year?

Humans like to demonize minority groups (unemployed, gays, women, teenagers, people with different skin colour) and attack them. Not really related to individuals fighting and stabbing people all the time, which is obviously a sign there is something wrong with them.
>>
>>5803542

Oh also sorry I forgot to talk about your last point. In historical wars, about 15 - 20% of the servicemen accounted for about 90% of the killing. In WWII for instance, I think the figure was exactly around there, of those who were in combat situations, with the rest firing deliberately away from the enemy (posturing). In Vietname it jumped to 60%, in the first Gulf war it was 90%.

Medieval wars were shoving matches, but 90% of a war were sieges. By the end of the rare few battles that happened in a war, the losing side tended to only lose about 15% of their men, and most of those were as a result of long ranged weapons (crossbows, archers) or during the routing phase when they were chased down and the field was calamity.

Fighting isn't like in the movies. It's rough, raw and damn right scary to most people.

So, it's ok to kill if you've been trained by others to kill, but if you train yourself to do it then it's no ok? And how to you know Anon wasn't trained by someone else?

>>5803576
So, it's ok for a majority to murder a minority, but it's not ok for a minority to murder a majority?
>>
>>5803597

In terms of money and social power, women are a minority group. It's not purely 'numbers', it's 'ability to affect policy'. And there's pretty strong memetic pressures keeping women 'in their place', largely enforced by other women. I mean, feel free to scream about radical feminists or whatever, but it's an undeniable fact in academic sociology and every metrics firm/town planning/marketing/anything else that needs to understand social metrics acknowledges it as ironclad.
>>
>>5803461
I'm so jealous of your nose, mine is the "perfect cute girl nose" which I can't fucking stand.
>>
>>5803602

I'm not passing judgement here, I'm simply saying that to actually train a regular person to kill takes a lot, since it simply seems naturally correct psychologically and considering evolutionary biology that there is a block for people to kill other people. What purpose does it serve, in the grand scheme of things? Isn't it natural that we want our species to survive? The impulse not to kill could seem the brother of the impulse to breed.
>>
>>5803609
Oh God that's magical.

Where were you taught such drivel?
>>
>>5803595
So, the vast majority of soldiers were unwilling to kill, and that makes them the good guys, while the small majority did all of the killing, and that makes them the bad guys? If there'd been no bad guys, just two armies full of good guys facing off against each other, would they have just shot randomly for hundreds of years until they accidently killed the other side? Or would they just shake hand and go home?

>>5803598
Isn't that just a meme?
>>
>>5803602
>>5803617

I should clarify, I'm not saying that it is impossible for people to kill other people, anyone can. But what I am saying is that people just don't want to in most circumstances.

We can argue forever whether it's cultural or biological or psychological or this or that but I think, cross-culturally, there is a desire for the pack to survive, and for that to happen there has to be a desire to breed and a lack of a desire to kill your own species.
>>
>>5803602

When the (largely economic) pressures regulating a large system lead to armed conflict at the instigation of the psychopaths (either natural or manufactured) who inevitably end up in positions of power, through the actions of individuals (usually non-psychopaths) put through a system of training to remove their natural desire to not kill and instead kill people, that's one thing.

When someone decides on their lonesome to start killing people, that's another thing. A thing that indicates they are unhinged. Because they are instigating all the unreasonableness of a war without any of the complexity factors that result in wars. Insanity produced by miscommunication and distance and 'other'ness is one thing, insanity produced on a personal scale by a single person is another.
>>
>>5803635

Look at my previous post, I said I'm not passing judgement, only commenting on what has been studied.

Also consider the fact that during the American revolutionary war, when guerilla armies much smaller than British regiments were deployed, it wasn't about the killing. There were stories of a group of no more than a couple hundred revolutionaries making enough noise by both shouting and shooting and bayonet charges that they scared British detachments 10x their size into a retreat, while actually killing very few.

An Austrian king once tried to determine the killing capability of a line regiment of 100 men at the number of deaths per minute at varying ranges (100ft, 80ft and 60ft I think) and found that they hit targets a majority of the time, resulting in what would be loads of deaths per minute, but in pitched battles there were only about 1 or 2 actual shots on target per minute, which resulted in hour long battles. Why is that if not for a mental block?
>>

So it's morally ok to murder so long as others have trained you to do it, but it's not ok to murder if you train yourself to do it?

Sometimes criminals are proven to have been trained by others to do what they have done. Why are they still found guilty? And it's not uncommon for a soldier to brag about how they've wanted to kill all along. Why don't they go to jail?

>>5803637
I don't think Anon considered those other people to be part of "his pack." I'm pretty sure that was dog shit anon, and he doesn't strike me as someone with many friends.

>>5803635

If you think there's 'good guys' and 'bad guys' and not just 'human motivations', you're thinking about it wrong.
>>
>>5803674
Ok. So there's "mentally ill" and "not mentally ill." The mentally ill do all of the killing, the not mentally ill miss their targets every time on purpose. So, if we could prevent any mentally ill people at all from becoming soldiers, then nobody will die in war anymore?
>>
>>5803683

See this is where the argument breaks down, I'll admit. Murder is illegal but killing in war isn't? Civillian deaths are collateral damage but then what's the difference to a terrorist attack? And the statistics... the number of servicemen in combat that actually kill compared to what it used to be is... scary honestly. We've perfected the art of conditioning people to become killers.

I think the argument escalated a little. I was more originally talking about someone who got into fights.
>>
>>5803683

You're basically strawmanning SWG's statements (not even his actual arguments) in a fairly shoddy way, so my guess is there's no real point actually talking to you. People have already explained that 'most humans don't want to fight' and 'humans who want to fight are not normal' and 'humans who want to fight and kill when there is no reason to and they aren't being forced to do so are some variety of insane', that you haven't even acknowledged (much less understood or argued against) those points is a pretty big sign there's not really much point.
>>
>>5803703
Well then let's talk about the non-lethal application of force. There's two police officers, one who kicks a suspect in the head, one who doesn't. Is the one who did kick always mentally ill, and the one who doesn't always mentally sane? Even if the suspect resisted? Even if both policemen were in lots of danger? Or are both policemen mentally sane because they're policemen, but an ordinary citizen who kicks someone in the head is insane, and one who doesn't and chooses to get seriously hurt or killed instead sane? Or are they both insane because they're civilians? Maybe they're both sane no matter what?

>>
>>5803713
SraightWhiteGuy was suggesting that soldiers who refuse to kill enemy soldiers are mentally healthy, and that those that do kill enemy soldiers are mentally unhealthy. I'm just a little confused as to why a very long war is indicative of mentally healthy people making up the soldiers, and a very short war is a sign of people who are mentally ill doing the shooting, and if the soldiers were mentally healthy enough, whether a war would last forever. Are humans even capable of being that mentally healthy?

>>5803823

Consider it like this. A common question veterans get asked is "Have you killed someone?". Now, ignoring the fact that is a frankly disgusting question to ask, what is the best answer?
>>
>>5803845
Try not to think of it as, "best" or, "worst." There's a bunch of financial, political, and psychological forces at play that drives war.

Honestly, I'm not sure why that is a disgusting question to ask. It seems like a fairly straightforward one to ask.

Obviously the "best" answer you're expecting is, "No, I have never killed anyone." But if all the soldiers answered with that, you would know that at least some of them are lying. Otherwise, both sides just decided that war was silly and went home? Maybe they declared it a draw and congratulated each other on having soldiers that wouldn't shoot anybody?
>>
>>5803869

It's disgusting because it's a deeply personal question that takes into no real account, and shows absolute ignorance and lack of empathy, towards the verterans experience. Any person worth their salt wouldn't ask personal details about sexuality, politics, religion or finance with someone they aren't close with, and I think experiences of killing in war are at least a couple steps above that.

Of course there will be killing in war, but at the end of the day it is still killing, doesn't that mean something by our definitions of murder and mental illness? A successful soldier to some is a mass murderer to others? I dunno, it seems too late for us to have this discussion now too I gotta get some sleep but this is the sort of conversation that I really do love, man.
>>
>>5803893
I ask people about their sexuality sometimes, and I consider myself to be worth my salt. It's how I have sex. How would people get boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands or wifes without asking about sexuality? How would people join political parties, or churches, or get jobs, without asking about politics, religion and finances? If we are only allowed to ask those things with people we know, then how can we get to know people since we're not allowed to say anything? Do you just say "hi" and "the sky is blue today" over and over? When do you "know" someone if that's all you say? Why is it ok to ask those difficult questions towards people you know? What if you think you know somebody, but they say you don't know them and you're not allowed to ask those things? And if asking all of these questions are something "salt-worthy" people never do, then am I supposed to believe that I don't know anybody who's "salt-worth"?

Honestly, I thought the conversation was a little boring. I wanted answers to questions I've never understood, and it looks like I'll be continuing to not understand them for the foreseeable future. Anyway, goodnight.

"Meme" in the original sense of the word, maybe.

Groups define themselves not just by what they are, but also by what they are not. An experience that cause a visceral, instinctive sense of wrongness or disgust when normies try to emphatically "wear" it (e.g. same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria) makes for the perfect scapegoat. Thus gays and trannies lose.

It's a great feeling when you "know" your (violent) actions are right and righteous. People love succumbing to group psychology much more than they like challenging their preconceptions.

I haven't followed the ensuing convo, sorry if I'm rehashing or severely digressing.

A meme is just an idea that's very popular with at least some sort of sizeable group, right? Like, if at least 100 people like something, then it's cool enough to be a meme?

And I'm going to be honest, I'm not interested in having a conversation about what straight people think of gay people. That subject holds very little interest for me. I don't really understand gay people who want spend all day long talking about what straight people are saying about them.

Is it impossible to know anything then? There is no such thing as right and wrong, it's just all mental? And if that's true, then is it mentally healthy, if everyone does it, or is it mentally unhealthy? Is there even anything you can do about it?

Okay, I'd rather not take this much further either. But to be clear I was responding to your "why do Muslims kill gays" by way of my Jenny Holzer quote, so talking about straight people is incidental because most people ("normies", as I put it) are straight.

Anyway, the etiology of the original question is obviously more complex, but universals of group psychology will play a part.

>Is it impossible to know anything then? There is no such thing as right and wrong, it's just all mental?

Objectively, probably yes. But people devote their lives to these questions. You should bury your mind in books or philosophy courses. Laymen on 4chan are hardly likely to challenge or enlighten you in a meaningful way.

there's not a right and wrong in any objective sense of the words, they're subjective... but it's also subjective whether or not any of that matters so eh...
>>
>>5804148
>But to be clear I was responding to your "why do Muslims kill gays" by way of my Jenny Holzer quote

I don't know who Jenny Holzer is, but when bringing up the fact that Muslims kill gays, I was simply pointing out that there are millions (if not billions) of people who don't "simply posture/submit." SWG seemed to think that dog shit anon must be unusual to want to hurt others that aren't like him, but I think violence towards those that are different is more common then not. Assuming any of dog shit anon's stories are true, of course, which they may well not be, but he certainly seems to wish they were.

>>5804185
>there's not a right and wrong in any objective sense of the words, they're subjective... but it's also subjective whether or not any of that matters so eh...

That was the point I was trying to make, exactly. I've quit trying to find any "greater truth" to answer that question. Personally, I think if there's no such thing as right and wrong, it's all subjective, but people can't help but think there are such things as right and wrong, and always will, then why care? Why not just enjoy your own personal sense of what is true and right? You're going to anyway, even if you say you're trying really really hard not to. Why fight it? Why not embrace the hypocrisy? You'll embrace that too whether you mean to or not, it's inevitable, so why not quit beating yourself up over it?

I can't even imagine what a world with no double standards and no hypocrisy would look like. I always have the most fun when I'm being a hypocrite, I'm not even sure an unhypocritical life would be worth living.
>>
>>5804235

well for me personally... i see no reason to live according to other people's morals or values if i don't share them cuz well... what's the point? i think nearly everything is subjective, though i also expect people to disagree with me and think they're probably about as right as me to an extent... but that it's all largely irrelevant, and not worth caring about...

most things are grey rather than black or white in my opinion though, and the subjectivity of each individual situation is what makes something moral or immoral... which i don't think makes something count as a double standard or hypocrisy necessarily

however swg's initial point about aggression and fighting not being the standard reaction most people have, and getting into a lot of fights being indicative of personality disorders and whatnot is technically true... that sort of thing is factored into a diagnosis of something like antisocial personality disorder for an example... it isn't really a matter of subjective morality...

everything about the discussion spiraled into a bunch of other shit though... that's only loosely related
>>
>>5803761

Since you're strawmanning that other people are saying that a policeman who arrests someone for breaking the law is performing the exact same action as someone who knifes someone for arguing with them, and that motivation and situation do not actually exist, indicates you are mentally incapable, yeah.

If you can't conceptualize the difference between 'shooting someone because of societal and legal pressure during a war' and 'shooting someone because you dislike them', you're completely insane. Your brain is malfunctioning. That is not the normal way humans think and you lack capabilities of conceptualization and imagination and empathy that other humans do have.

I simply don't ascribe any moral immunity to certain policemen who kick certain innocent and non-resisting suspects in the head for fun, nor do I automatically assume that when a gay person is in a fight with a straight one that the gay one must have done something wrong and the straight one must be blameless.

Way to tone police me though. I'm glad we can both agree that me having very little respect for your opinion is a high priority.

Talk about having no capability to conceptualize, use your imagination or have empathy. You've completely misrepresented everything I've been saying, in favor or repeating strawman a couple of times.

To me, you don't need permission from somebody else to stick up for what you believe in, nor does having permission from many other people make your believes valid.

Estrogen is what feminizes your body in the first place, right?

A while ago I had the idea that if I got breast cancer, I could get top surgery and it wouldn't be my fault. But, ah, no. No longer.

Hei kompis! Var det jeg trodde.

There's actually some recourse to be had outside of Riksen. I talked to psykolog Ronny Aaserud a little while ago and lege Thomas Mörk Tönseth earlier today actually, and between them and a few others (e.g. Pirelli Benestad) there's another, less gatekeepy avenue of treatment emerging through loosely associated professionals who actually give a shit about the standards of care. Now to hope Ira Haraldsen gets extremely fired like she should have been when her entire team quit in protest 9 years ago.

The downside is private treatment costs money, and some surgeries (like the hysterectomy I want) are more difficult to get because you don't have that sweet f64.0. And my conversations with Ronny and Thomas solidified my impression that Haraldsen is mercurial and vindictive. It could possibly be bad to get outside treatment if you later go through Riksen.

Anyway, you should definitely call any/all of those three people and get some advice. I'm going to bed soon, but you can also ask me anything or you can leave some info and we can chat.

Top surgery cost varies depending on the surgeon and the type of procedure done. Double incision is usually more expensive than peri because it's a longer procedure. Almost all costs I've seen are in the $5-10k range.

Mine cost ~$6400, not including stuff like transportation, hotel room, prescriptions, etc.

I wasn't as bad as that anon, but I avoided doctors at all costs. If I absolutely needed to go I could get through it without much trouble, but I preferred not to put myself through the stress and dysphoria so I usually just didn't see doctors. I didn't see a gynecologist for the first time until I was 27 and had been sexually active for over a decade.
>>
>>5808823
I have literally beat the shit out of gynocologists who tried to touch me. At the time I did not know much about trans stuff and I had not come out but I knew that the feeling was wrong. And I was also about 19-ish..don't masturbate, still don't. I just ignored a lot and I still refuse to go to many physicians and never had any sort of feminine check. I'm really paranoid about cancer but unless they give me anesthesia I guess I'll just die young.

you're nervous cuz something different is happening, but once she's there it'll probably be easier than the anticipation of the event... so there's no reason to worry, worst case scenario is it goes wrong and you find another cute girl instead... no big deal, there's a lot of cute chicks out there...

>>5809177

if that's what he's nervous about it's pretty pointless, straight chicks in relationships with cis guys are usually easier than any other chick, and they're usually easy to satisfy cuz they're not used to having a fulfilling sex life... in my experience anyway, chicks with boyfriends or husbands or whatever are honestly my favourite kinda women... you get all the fun shit, their boyfriends get all the bullshit, and i never have to put any work into it cuz they make all the first moves...

so i imagine if that's what he's worried about it's pointless... plenty of guys suck in bed, and you don't need to be cis to get a girl off

I have one of those in one earlobe. Which is the extent of my piercings really. I used to have a nose ring too until it got ripped out, then pierced again, then ripped out a 2nd time and so I gave up on trying to keep a facial piercing.

Same as >>5809002 where I don't get that bad. I tend to get very detatched when seeing a regular doctor though and extremely self conscious during the questions. (The odd looks I get for being a 28 year old virgin DO NOT help though!)

However I've only been to a gynocologist once when I was 13 and I refuse to go to one again.
>>
>>5809455

Just think of it like a prostate exam. You go and get it and it sucks and afterwards no-one talks about it.

>28 year old virgin

2 years from wizardry. Too dysphoric to fuck? Or too awks?
>>
>>5809704
A bit of both. With weight issues not helping things. Though between that and all the other shit on my plate, I try to keep relationships a low priority. I don't need to let extra stress get to me if I don't need to. It'll only make things worse and take up time I can't spare.
>>
Why dont you guys do martial arts?
>>
>>5809761
Probably because the only places you can get lessons are full of kids. And being a barely-passing grown transman in an athletics class full of children probably isn't going to sit right with a lot of people.

Also what's wrong with simply owning a weapon? A lot of legbutts carry a piece or a blade. It's common sense to do so.
>>
>>5809792

>common sense

Perhaps in america. In countries with competent law enforcement 'muh personal defense' isn't really a good excuse for knifing someone.
>>
>>5809792

And for reference, unless your area is weird that way, there's adult gyms/dojos for nearly any martial art you care to name in even minor cities. It requires simple googling skills to find them.
>>
>>5809879
>someone comes and tries to rob you at gunpoint
>cant defend self cause i is upstanding citizen who dont own no illeeegal gunz
>police have gunz and are either incompetent
>or are perfectly capable of helping you but its entirely up to this complete stranger whether they should or not
>if they do, it may take a few minutes to get there anyway
>robber has already shot and killed you and is long gone

Or...
>take out legal gun
>scare them off
>if you doubt that scare doesnt work, shoot first
>robber is gone and youre safe in sound within seconds

This is why your liberal fucktard logic doesn't work. You'd rather make yourself someone else's responsibility instead of taking it for your own. People don't own weapons because they want an excuse to go Dexter on someone. They own them because they feel safer and more confident in their own abilities than someone else's.

You should still absolutely call police. But your immediate safety should come first. Makes it easier on them too to get a report from a live victim and take away an injured criminal than to stuff your body bag into an ambulance and no criminal around to be found.

>>5809881
>minor cities

Yeah. Doesn't work when you're surrounded by miles of nothingness. Not every lgbt person lives in fucking SanFran, you know.
>>
>>5810371
I'm not anti-gun at all but what the fuck do you plan to do if someone else is already robbing you at gun point? They already at the gun pointing at you, you aren't anime. You aren't going to dodge the bullet or whip out your own in time. Just give them your wallet and pray to jesus you don't get shot in the face, fuck.
>>
>>5810403

I'm drunk.
>>

Meanwhile, in Britain...
>someone tries to rob you at gunpoint
>they have no reason to shoot seeing as you wouldn't reasonably have a weapon on you
>feign/actually panic at the sight of a real actual gun pointed at you to stall
>get a look at dude's face and hand over your shit
>go to police and they will take it very seriously because guns are involved
>>
>>5810498

more likely

>someone tries to rob you at knife point
>have to get right up in your personal space to knife you so already more difficult physically/psychologically
>if somehow stabbed, more likely to survive
>hand over goods while getting an eyeful of the mugger
>cancel cards/phone/etc and give detailed information to the police who still take it seriously

>still better than america

>Martial arts

You don't need someone to teach you to learn how to do it, all you need is a practice space. If you live in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, perhaps consider living somewhere that isn't bumfuck nowhere.

>take out your gun

So you've turned 'having to get your cards cancelled' to 'potentially killing someone/being killed/shooting a bystander'. This is why legal authorities in nearly every single first world country except america will send you straight to jail (do not pass go, do not collect $200) if you 'pull a gun' (or a knife, or whatever) in any situation that does not absolutely warrant it. To note, that is defined as 'any situation that is less likely to result in bodily harm and/or death' than the one you have just created. Running away, handing over your wallet, calling for help, if you don't have a reason you didn't try to do these things rather than trying to kill someone, you get murder or manslaughter with mitigating factors, which is correct, because you chose to turn a robbery into a murder.
>>
>>5810517

Defend yourself from.. being robbed? When your bank will refund any transactions made from your accounts (and that's if you're dumb enough not to have a pin), so you're essentially out whatever is in your wallet + time + new phone, if they bothered to take that? You think it's better to escalate that situation to one where loss of life occurs, possibly including your own? The only moral system where that makes sense is 'purity through strength', so hello again my /pol/ack friend.
>>
>>5810588
>You don't need someone to teach you to learn how to do it, all you need is a practice space.

That's not quite correct. If you don't have someone to teach you, you really should at least have reputable books on how to perform the moves. There's no reason you shouldn't benefit from the wisdom of those that came before you, otherwise you might practice for years and still be terrible.

And secondly, you need people to practice those things you're teaching yourself on. All of the practice in the world can only take you so far, there's no substitute for real life experience. If you wait until your life is in serious danger to try out your martial arts for the first time, you're doing it wrong.
>>
>>5810611

If your life is in danger, you shouldn't be 'using martial arts', you should be using your legs and running away. It's a situation that is extremely unlikely to occur for most people in first world countries, and often people claim it does when it hasn't.

Carrying around a gun to 'use on robbers' is exactly why i'm glad I don't live in america.

>walks up to some short dudebro, 'hey do you have the time' 'GET AWAY FROM ME YOU RAPISTROBBER OMG BLAM BLAM BLAM'
