America ideally is based on a free trade of goods and ideas. Appreciating the engineering and design of another country is nothing to be ashamed about and in fact should be encouraged.
My family has been here since the 17th century and I still love me some slav shit. Don't confuse product preference with patriotism or lack thereof. Sure you should probably have a 5.56 AR-15 around for SHTF situations but go ahead and buy AKs too.

Multiculturalism only exists to take away from Whites and it only happens in White countries. You're mexican, you have Mexico. That's the country where you can practice your culture and have your customs, celebrate your history etc. In the US, all we ever get is "bix nood kill whitey muh slavery privilege" and that needs to stop. It's the same in Europe but they have even less excuse for it, it's just that their governments are run by commie degenerates. Only Soviet weapon I like the look of are those Shotgun AK patterns.
Otherwise I'll take something of any caliber above 223 in the AR-10/AR-15 pattern
