This. I burn through a lot of gloves at work. Get some of pick related at Lowes. They've lasted a good while and the only thing that has failed on them is the finger grip pads have worn down from extensive handling on the job. Not to mention they cost like $10

My friend worked some construction supply sales job and gave me a few pairs of these. Haven't shot with them but they've been excellent for everything else I've used them for.
I've been thinking - are there any gloves not too obsucre, and not too clumsy, that have some ballistic protection to them? Say, NIJ I or IIA?
