My USPc's handle got caught on something when I was coming into my house. It got pulled out of my holster and landed on the polymer in the front. It looks fine besides this chewed up spot.

Is there any way I can sand down this rough spot? I think it's overkill to replace the slide. It's a carry gun so i don't mind some use/abuse marks. I just want to get the rough pieces smoothed out.

yeah probably would be since the frame is the part that appears to be damaged

1. Put on pants
2. Get in car
3. Start car
4. Drive to Home Depot or Autozone
5. Turn off car
6. Get out of car
7. Purchase sand paper
8. Get back in car
9. Start car
10. Drive home
11. Take off pants
12. ????
13. Smooth gun.

It's fine.

If you're freaking out about scuffing some plastic you may want to reconsider carrying it.

Soak the frame in a jar of acetone overnight. It will smooth out the rough areas.

Lol. Nice try. I could use a bit of acetone to smooth it down like a 3d print

Consider getting a holster that doesn't let your grip catch on things.

gun is fine.

It's fine OP, honestly I think scuffs and other marks give guns character. But seriously consider a better holster that doesn't let your gun fall out of it.

I own a USP that's beat to shit and I'm not having triggered autism. Now if OP is the type that posts on HKpro then yeah I can see that.
