Which one should I buy for my very first CCW?
Most of the men I've spoken to in person have said the Bersa is better overall because its half the price of the Walther.
However, I have also heard that the Walther is more dependable long term.
Which one would you buy to CC /k/ ?

How good a Walther is can depend on who made it and when.
The Bersa I'd say is more consistent, also if you're interested there's the Plus model which has a doublestacked magazine for 15+1
Save the money and get the bersa
Or look at the new Taurus curve .
the Bersa Thunder is a cut-rate copy of the Walther.
the question you should ask yourself is, am i going to spend the rest of my life buying cut-rate garbage, or am i going to actually get what i want.

The grip must be wider right?
i like the idea of a .380 with 15 ready to fly

It'd probably be a wider grip, but I'd see if I could grip it to see how it feels.

Don't get a Taurus Curve!
>>30650052
And you're a cut-rate copy of a good poster.

Nope. Plenty of room in the grip for a doublestack. Pic related: my single stack Thunder. I'd recommend the CC version with the milled down beavertail. It can get uncomfortable after any amount of time sitting down at appendix.

Right on.
Is the Thunder accurate compared to something like say a 9mm or even a .357 Magnum?
The Walther doesn't have an internal lock. Not knocking the bersa, but it's one less thing to go wrong. That being said I've shot them both and think that they are both fine to cc

It's a straight blowback pistol, they shoot straight enough at the kind of distances you would actually use a pistol at.
It should be about as accurate as the Walther.

As far as I know, locks like those can be disabled.
Like on a Smith & Wesson, the "Hillary Hole" can easily be removed from the gun entirely, at which point you could order an aftermarket plug to fill the gaping hole where the lock used to be, purely for aesthetic reasons.

I can shoot it as accurately as any other handgun except SA revolvers. That being said, I'm definitely the limiting factor in accuracy.
I frankly love mine. Everyone I know who has ever shot one loves theirs. The only people I've ever heard speak a word against Thunders is pretentious fucks like >>30650052 who have an unfounded bias against lower priced firearms.
Bersa is a fucking piece of shit.

Go on, anon, detail your unsatisfactory Bersa experience.
Yankeemarshal fag said he saw a Bersa's frame break during firing and the metal looked like compressed sand inside. Not a reliable source by any means but it's worth mentioning.
