I don't really know where else to go for this, but I need help identifying a gun
My grandfather passed away relatively recently, and one of the things he left me was this gun. I don't know any information about it other than the fact that It was owned by his dad before him.
I don't have too much info about my family history, but I do know that my great grandfather emigrated form Russia to the United States.
I'm not really into firearms, and was considering selling it, but I wanted to check with you all to see whether you knew what exactly it was.
Any ideas what it could be?

I do. In fact it's my hope to be able to make reproductions of them (and other long forgotten milsurps) one day. Probably a pipe dream, but a nice one at least.
