Putting those rail extensions on SCARs are fucking ugly and people never even put shit on them
>>30636025
The handguard and carry handle. It just bothers me so much, even though I know they do their job.
>>30636135
What's even worse, is when they put a optic ontop of the carry handle.
It works, and it's the only real option when you don't have rails, but just......fuck, man.
People who put their vertical grips anywhere but the middle.
>>30636174

>>30636135
>>30636174
That's because it looks so stupid. I can't stand it.

I can't totally fault that. I have mine closer towards the mag.

>>30636417

>>30636397

>>30636594
<3
>>30636487
I don't mind it on dreadnoughts, the problem is when they have post dreadnoughts with cannons aimed at the back of other cannons.
Yes it increases broadside firepower, but honestly if you have room to spare, you should either get bigger guns, or put something else there. Quality > Quantity.
The absolute worse however is when all the main battery is in the front thought and only small guns are in the back. The ideal dreadnought layout is 2 in the front, 2 in the back, each super firing with two of the biggest guns you can afford.
>>30636633
>>30636571
ment for him, actually
>>30636617
THe 45 degree mount is waiting for the MRDS, which got moved to the G40
The foregrip is that far forward since the rail isnt longer, and any more forward and my finger might kiss the barrel. Long arms you fucking manlet.
Its rustoleum $1 laundrybagflauge thank you very much. I didnt do it for combat purposes.
All my weapons gets flashlights, ALL OF THEM.
>>30636487
I really feel like there are people who would willingly fuck that ship.
>>30636418
>>30636174
The worst part is, I am a poorfag, and my LGS was closing. A del-ton that looks exactly like it, sans carry handle, was 450$. I wanted to get into AR's and it was looking like A good idea at the time. Now I truly know I need to get a New hand guard and a foreword grip because shit just didn't feel right.
And it looks ugly AF.

New York stocks on AR's.
I understand why they exist, but they look so ugly and unwieldy.

>>30636807
Not bad.
Your rifle needs a rear sight, you need some kind of revolver, and you need a shotgun.
>>30636939
I don't induce failures. I live them.
>>30636198
I don't mind it, if "operator" in question is utilizing the grip like a handstop. I hate when people use vert grips in general, unless they are .mil and have tons of shit covering the rails so it's the only option.
>>30636943
No longer a necessity.
>>30636939
>keyholing intensifies
>>30636417
>>30636449
Yes, broadside firepower. Theoretically, capital ships wouldn't engage head on in a fleet engagement. They'd form two lines of battle (like at Trafalgar) and maneuver to cross the other line's T, concentrating maximum broadside firepower against the enemy's minimum firepower.
>>30636920
Confirmed magwell grip users are cucks
>>30636979
Technically, the one right below it is a .223 over 20 gague, but yeah, I wish I had a dedicated shotgun. I am considering a revolver for a CCW though.

I don't want to like that, but I like that.
>>30636025
If anything the Mrex rail makes it look better. The SCAR is ugly as fuck with that short gas system and lanky ass skinny barrel sticking out. If it were sold in it's proper SBR form, then I would change my stance.

Also, the ones with shorter barrels are admittedly more pleasing.
Ignore the airshit timestamp, i couldn't find any others that had this barrel length without being covered in a bunch of stupid shit
>>30636791
I think as long as it's not the thin version of those grips then it looks fine, no need to go throwing tacticool quad rail shit on a good looking rifle.
When people shove .22's into stupid ass body kits. I know that if its a decent kit it wont fuck the functioning of said gun, but it triggers me for some reason.

Thinking the .357. Most .357 I can find will actually have some handle, all the .38 I have seen are so tiny handled, and I have the sausage fingers. That, and the 92fs is just comfortable, not too big or too small. I am working on losing a bit of weight, so my old polos should have enough room to hide a 4".

That's mostly an AR15 thing though... I've gripped the mag on SG55X, AKs, VZs,... NEVER, literally NEVER induced a failure. As long as you keep your fingers away from the moving bolt, it's perfectly fine.
Not sure about the SCAR you posted, but the whole "don't grip the mag / magwell" and "don't rest the rifle on the mag EVER!" bullshit is mostly AR15 related I'd imagine.
>>30636174
a real aimpoint carry handle mount works great tho, fast transition from dot to irons just by shifting your face up or down a little.

>People who pay for cuckstamps to put a stock on an AR pistol just do it faggot the ATF isn't going to get you
The AR15/M16 and everything based on it.
It works and all, but it's way overhyped and only popular because of gubment contracts flooding the world with them. Not even the M1911 is that bad.
>>30636135
I hate ARs but honestly carrying them by that handle is super comfy and it's the one thing I miss between the C7A1 and the A2. ARs without carry handles are just a pain to move around (like if you're getting a bunch of them out of a truck or w/e, I'm not suggesting there's some cqb meme stance where you use the carry handle)
>>30637619
In canada, they explicitly tell you to use the magwell as a foregrip and range instructors will laugh at you if you don't (while informing you that a comfy shooter is a good shooter so just do you man but seriously haha man fug outta hear w/ that shit)
>>30642121

The ones that have a thumbhole are even sexier
>>30636939

>>30636025
VFGs that are bigger than or otherwise don't match the pistol grip, or clash with the rest of the gun.
Those stupid VFG-bipod combos that look like they'd be terrible at both jobs.
AR pistols with bare buffer tubes.
Chiappa Rhino grips, while they might be somewhat ergonomic they look like they'd slip right out of your hand with recoil because they're wider at the top than the bottom.

>>30644128
Probably because movie armorers would put full-auto converted Mini-14s and select-fire AC-556s in Muzzelite bullpup kits and then modify or build them up to look like spaceguns.
In particular this was done because the Mini-14, when converted to blanks, will just eat those blanks without any fuss at all and keep going without feeding problems or shortstroking problems.
Two famous examples is the Morita rifle in Starship Troopers, and the assault rifle used by the Mars Colonial troopers in Total Recall.
In reality though, the Muzzelite kits are fucking atrocious, flimsy pieces of shit with awful triggers.

Never heard of anyone told to do that. They do, however, tell you not to rest the mag on the ground in the prone even though that hasn't been a problem in the AR platform for like 50 years. The rifles on the sim ranges have that feature too; they put a pressure sensor on the mag so it causes a stoppage if you use it as a monopod.
