People consider them "you get what you pay for" guns but they have surprisingly above average quality for their price point. The massive variety of models and chamberings is really nice too.

'good' quality 1911s tend to be stupidly expensive for a gun designed in 1910 and produced to this day, upwards of 700 dollars. RIA guns are decently made and are priced fantastically.
