^ guy buried a G21 for 2 years. Dug it up, and put 500 rounds through it. The only parts with rust on them were the springs and bore.

Streamlight and Surefire are the ones I see most recommended when it comes to weapon lights. Glock sells a Glocklight on their website, but I think it's just a Surefire with the Glock logo slapped on it.

I've waited one month for one license, and I've waited 5 months for another. I've heard of people who have waited even longer, but i just keep phoning them and bothering them until they give me my license.

Yes the worst part is you have to write a motivation to say why you want the gun, and a license can be denied, I've never been denied a license or know of somebody who has, but I'm still nervous every time.
For instance they can say that I already own a 9mm pistol and didn't explain why I need another, but I explained that my other 9mm is a compact I use for concealed carry and the Glock will be for target shooting. Its a really shit system designed to fuck with law abiding people while the criminals buys a stolen police gun on the streets.

Shit son, I always wondered what/how the process was. Ironically I can claim I am just as much South African as I am American (Dad is from Johannesburg and all my family lives in Durban still). Although other than visiting as a child I don't really go back except every other year to see granny for a week or so.

The way things are going now is part of the reason I'm stocking up, people have been saying we're close to the end for a long time, but it's really starting to look bad now. I personally have a Glock 20 only because the problem solver didn't exist when I bought it. IMO the 20 looks better though, but the 40 is probably an all around better choice.

Yes, I personally feel 380 is enough for a carry weapon. No one's gonna live through a mag dump full of flat nosed fmj and xtp hp ammo. Both penetrate more than 14 inches, and the xtp's expand every time. What more do you need?

Because its bigger/heavier, but small enough to where shooting a 9mm through them suck. Larger 380s like the G42, p238 (which I own as well), etc are smaller than any 9, but still a pleasure to shoot because of the round. And since they're smaller it means I'll actually carry them.
