So with the Chimps on maximum chimpout alert I want to update my arsenal.
I have a Sig P226 MK25 as my side arm and a Vepr 12 for home defense.
I have close to 5k rounds of 9mm so enough to take over a small African country.
I am really thinking of buying a CZ Scorpion for in the car/CQC. However, I know the 9mm lacks in stopping power which is the only reason I have not picked one up yet.
I'm also thinking of either getting an AR-15 or FAL. But my stash of 9mm makes me think the CZ is the way to go?
Thoughts from /K/? What do you have prepared for the coming Chimp?

Depends on where you expect on encountering them and how many you will be dealing with. The situation could have many variables. You want to have all of your bases covered. 300 Blackout in an AR platform is cash. The Sig M400 300 BA Pistol is magnificent. Good for home and vehicle. Im not sure your want to duel with 9mm. Got a friend who was shot with 9mm twice in the gut and kept kicking the other guys ass. He survived btw.

I like the idea of the CZ since I can keep it in my car or backpack with ease.
That way if the time comes I have enough fire power to get home and handle what I need to.
Or should I just skip the sbr 9mm and get a 5.56?

Depends on which 9mm and which .308. Rifle ammunition that doesn't fragment leaves wounds comparable to hollow point pistol ammunition unless it passes through a fluid filled organ. Rifle ammunition that fails to tumble, expand, or fragment will leave wounds comparable to FMJ pistol ammunition of a similar caliber. Not saying that 9mm is better than .308, just that you still need to pay attention to what .308 ammunition you pick because you might end up with shit that performs like pistol ammunition.
