Federal is okay. I like their pistol ammo. Love their shotgun ammo, and avoid their rifle ammo.

American Eagle, a Federal Premium brand has M2 ball spec .30-06. I got a bulleye with a M1917 @50 meters standing with that.

you cant make a load that works well in every rifle of a caliber or even every rifle of a certain model, especially considering 91/30s are one of the most produced rifles in existence.
try reloading. reloading for a single rifle caliber would only take a few hundred to get into and you can tailor your loads to your gun.

Underwood ammo is my favorite. They make real full power 10mm loads, and a good variety of them.

It's the best because
A) they make loads for it in the 1st place and
B) they make components for it. Their brass is top notch too.
Winchester PDX and Ranger is great ammo. Their 147gr Bonded is the shit.
