No, they are not just better trained infantry. 75th is a part of SOCOM and has its own RECCE teams. They are one of the best direct action SOF forces the U.S. has.

They can't even keep their self propelled 155s operable and repair their helicopters at the same, or outfit both their fancy new ships.
During my conscription just 5-6 months ago, half my uniform was 20 years old, as was my canadian bootleg M16A2 and the radios weighted 11kgs and were from the 60s. My mind was fucking blown when I actually got to use functioning NVGs once during the last exercise. Never found a pair of pants that fit either. Sure they just upgraded everyone who's actually gonna see action, but the Vietnam war memorabelia radios were used as late as 2005.
That said, those radios are fucking cool and I kinda want one.

I'd say it's a toss up between SAS and Spetsnaz with SEALS and Israeli Commandos a close second. Rangers are cool but compared to even the most elite in just the USA their bottom tier.
