I am looking at getting my first general purpose CCW / Home defense weapon. I know the Glock 19 is the go to favorite for a lot of you but I have also heard a lot of good things about the M92A1. Does anyone on here own both or fired both? What are the pros and cons for each weapon.

Honestly there are so many high quality handguns available now. Best thing would be for you to go to a gun store and get a feel for a few yourself and pick what is right for you. There is no right or wrong choice, just whats best for you.

I'm sorry that the only 92s you have ever used were beat to shit military models that retards used to drive in tent stakes. They're really very nice guns, try firing a new one or one that's actually been taken care of.

the Glock 19 is a far better gun for your needs and a fine firearm. Get the Glock for carry, and later the 92 if you want a nice pistol for the range or your nightstand.

I'm 6' and 129lbs, I conceal carry a Glock 21 SF TB. Alien gear holster no printing.
It's just about getting what's comfortable at the right position and the right wardrobe.
