Aus here. Currently in the united states on holiday and I would like to shoot some guns. What's the best way going about doing this?
I'm both US and Aus citizen, if that makes any difference.
If you're a U.S. Citizen you can buy guns, my man. If not, just go to a range that rents guns. Or find a willing /k/ommando that will let you shoot their guns in exchange for your boipucci.

PA has state game land ranges everywhere. Go to one and hook up with a PA bro. You will need to buy a non resident permit or hunting license to shoot though. NJ or CA, you're fucked.

I got lucky with the US citizen stuff.
Was born aus, but when I was a baby, my parents got me permanent residence/green card and immigrated to the US for 10 years. Moved back to aus, then when I went on this trip to USA, i read up on citizenship/visa laws, and apparently I had all the stuff required for automatic citizenship.
I'm considering moving to USA, it's not bad.

Targetmaster is right over the PA line. They have full auto guns and many handguns to rent. Decent prices but ammo will cost you of course.
In Delaware there is shooter's choice in Smyrna (I think). They are on Route 13 and they also rent handguns for use on their indoor range. I have no idea if they rent full auto because I haven't been there in like 20 years.

Most states require a hunting license for shooting at state wildlife dept. ranges. They fund the range through hunting license fees.
Private ranges fund their range through entrance fees so they would never care if you have a hunting license.
