>>
>>30553356
You don't need a better camera, you need a better format. All those guns crudely MS Painted and just cobbled into one picture, no organization, no ironed sheets, fucking nothing.

Get all your guns together, set them up nicely, then take a couple of pictures and take your time deciding which one is /k/ worthy because this ass-parrot picture is not.

Here's mine.

As you can see I don't like handguns that much. I find them a bit boring to shoot for some reason, the only handgun that gave me pleasure to shoot has been the HK Mark 23 that I once had the opportunity to use. The only problem was how huge it was and also the price to buy one.

Promised a review a little while back anyway so here it goes...

Picked her up last weekend at the Orlando gunshow and I've taken her out twice now.

Physically it's a damn heavy gun as one would expect, but that in tune with the foregrip and 45 acp it shoots means you can keep it steady pretty easy with little climb if you're swole enough. I am not.

The bolt is heavy as hell (trigger also heavy) and operating it for reloading is a cumbersome affair.

While classy, the drum has been the only real problem of the tommy. I've had it jam on me 4 times total, three on the same outing, but I think I may have just not wound it enough. Easy enough to clear though.

Accuracy is about what you'd expect from those old mobster movies or any civilian level sub-machine gun, but again I think I just need to hit the range with it a bit more. It's certainly not a marksman's rifle.

Field stripping and cleaning is laughably easy.

Bought it for $1488 (new before taxes and fees) with 50 round drum, 30 round stick, and hardcase included and I don't regret a single penny.

Shooting it is an absolute dream. Never before have I grinned so much and so wide. It's gentile as hell and puts on a good show.
The first time I took it out I was lucky enough to have an empty range for a little while so I reloaded the drum (pain in the ass) and held it under arm, blasting away at the abandoned targets on the field with reckless abandon watching dirt, clay, and wood explode the range over.

This fall when things have cooled I'm going back with my suit, white scarf, and a cigar because fuck it. They also sell an official violin case so they know exactly what their market is.

This gun has provided me with the most enjoyment this hobby ever has and if you ever have the opportunity to pick one up I highly recommend it.

That is a Weaver Qwik-Point, probably an R1 model. It's one of the early predecessors to the modern red dots and reflex sights, uses a little light pickup in the top globe so battery free. A few decades more advanced than the Nydar and a colleague of the Armson OEG.

Nowhere near my whole collection but four guns I've always been a fan of. From top to bottom.
1. Remington M1917 Sporter, rebuilt by Charles Flaig out of Millvale, PA in the 1960's. Completely rebuilt with a lightweight Douglas barrel in .270 Win and a Timney trigger. It wears an era correct Weaver K2.5 with an R.A Litschert power booster.
2. 1917 Erfurt K98A Sporter, rebuilt by P.O Ackley. It's got a heavy tapered barrel chambered in .270 Win Ackley Improved and wears what can only be a composite stock built from multiple pieces of wood for whatever inane reason. The trigger is still the original military trigger but worked over and it wears a Weaver K2.5 with a prototype R.A Litschert power booster.
3. Remington Model 30 Express, this rifle is in 30-06 and is untouched. The scope was installed before delivery in late 1941 and it wears a Weaver 330 M.8 scope.
4. Springfield M1903 Sporter, no idea who rebuilt this rifle but it originally had a sister rifle in .22 Hornet built off the same action. 300 Win Mag with a Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8 scope and a Timney trigger, also one hell of a vibrant stock.

you don't have the wii verison of RE4?
that one's my absolute favorite, the motion controls are awesome. a quick knife slash is as easy as slashing with the controller, and the aiming is spot on. I easily get a perfect 6000 points in every shooting gallery using only the pistol, and mercenaries never gets old.

Thanks!

It's Mossberg 500 Persuader I bought off a Police Officer.

Then I got a Magpul SGA Stock for it. Decided to keep the heatshield and forend the same since I'd have to do too much shit and possibly lose the heatshield if I put the SGA forend on it,

Shotgun and scoped bolt action long arm. Mossy 500 with 3 barrels (scoped rifled slug, duck, and 18.5" cyl bore) and a Savage 11/111 in .308.

The Luger is a 7.65 from my great grand pappy
I like the 500 and I'm considering wood grips but a bit hesitant on making the recoil snappy. I'd eventually like to get a 329pd at some point, if I can find a good deal on one.

>>
>>30562624
Got it for 50 shekels from a friend, so I think it's great!
In all honesty it's a small revolver, however it is very heavy for it's size. When it's empty it's even heaver than my loaded cz 2075!
Of course, that makes it easier to shoot at the range.

None at all without a can. With one, it depends on the suppressor and the load you use. Even then, its not a big deal and there are ways to remedy any gas blowback on any firearm.

You need a 1911, a revolver, and a bolt action.

Don't question me just go buy.

it doesn't bother me with my .460.
if it does you can always wear shooting gloves to help soften it some more.

a 9mm P08 is on my must have list. I've noticed most people who own a Luger had it passed down from a grandfather or such.

Damn, that's a crazy nice polish. Did you do the mothers polish? I'm considering doing it but I've got a decent gouge on one side of my cylinder that'll take a long time to get out with high grit paper.

My great grandfather got it in Canada from bartering for doing dental work for a guy. I think it's ~1912-1916 manufacture date. I gotta take it out to shoot; I bought a box of ammo for it.

>Did you do the mothers polish?
I did exactly that.
blue is my favorite finish, but the x frames only come in matte stainless, which I'm not a fan of. the mothers polish was a cheap way to make it look a bit nicer in my opinion.

that's an awesome story. I'm very happy for you. I shot one for the first time last month and was just enthralled. they're just so elegant in how they look, handle, and function.
