Hurry /k/, I'm going to go to the gun shop in an hour. I can't decide between a Walther P99, Glock 19, or VP9.

Pls halp
>>
hold them and decide based on which is comfy
>>
Glock>Walther>HK Shit
>>
>>30534510
I like them all. I finger fucked them the other day and decided to sleep on it but can't make up my mind.
>>
>>30534510
This. And dry fire them to see how the trigger feels to you. Whichever one lets you get a sight picture fastest and keep it the most stable during trigger manipulation is the one to go with.
>>
>>30534507
You need an Italian Bodeo revolver
>>
>>30534522
>literally backwards

Haha, I see what you did there.

Good one, you silly anon.
>>
Glock will become a money sink, which is cool if you want an ongoing project to fuck with.

Walther would be best overall standalone needs nothing ready to carry gun, best trigger of the three probably.

Hk vp9, as an hk fan boy I was extrememly dissapointed to see how much this fucker failed and had those little cocking wings fly off.
>>
>>30534602
I had both a Glock 19 and a PPQ. I really only regretted parting with the Glock 19 but knew I could always get another.

That said, when I had my PPQ, I always kind of wanted a P99.

Also is $699 for a used USP Compact with night sights too much? Seems a bit steep to me.

That looks like a double stack magazine
But how?
>>
>>30534620
Caliber, condition and year?
I see them hover around $550-750 for 9mm and .40, and 600-800 for .45. The 550 range tend to be 2007 and older with a bit more holster wear, which doesn't matter at all, Ive never heard of a USP rusting, but the sights will start to lose their glow.

P99 AS Gen 3 is the best of all three, plus the most snowflake.

Better single action, double action if you choose, curved and comfy.
>>
I vote P99.
>>
>>30534630
Triangular slide. It is actually wider than most handguns at the base, but looks slimmer.
>>
>>30534668
I don't mind replacing the night sights.

But making the decision between a Glock 19 and a used USP Compact is difficult. It's about $150 more or $100 more if I go for the burnt bronze 19.
>>
>>30534507

Glock 19 obviously. Walther is shit, no opinion on vp9
>>
>>30534680
The DA/SA is it's main perk in my opinion. My other guns are all Sigs. I'd like to find a P320 but everywhere is sold out around here.
>>
>>30534704
Have you fired a P99? The trigger is unbeatable.

You like double action? Smooth, consistent double action pull around 8 lb.
You prefer single action? Best striker-fired trigger on the market, even better than the PPQ in my opinion.
Want a little more safety? 4 lb trigger with DA pull length.

The P99 is a striker-fired masterpiece.
>>
>>30534756
My only thing is that magazines and holsters are harder to come by and just want to know that when the night sights I get for it start dying that I'll still be able to find them.

The availability of glock mags and parts is king. That and the Glock 19 is the easiest 15+1 that I've ever carried.

I think I've narrowed it down to those two. I just wish I could get the P99 in OD Green
>>
>>30534507
>a Walther P99

Jericho 941 semi or regular compact. These two choices, nothing else.
>>
>>30534779
I know a guy with a Gen II P99 QA in OD, it was the SAS model.

Seconded. Excellent trigger, amazing reset, excellent ergos, uses p99 or ppq sights, 15 17 and 18 rnd mags, and a decock if you want to be ghetto and stuff it in your underwear. It's my carry 75% of the time if I'm not carrying my PPK. Do it and be a hipster like us P99 owners.

Come, be snowflakes with the best gun manufacturer
>>
>>30534880
Isn't the TP9 the same size as a glock 17?
P99 are $500 on buds.
>>
I already have a custom 1911 for a full sized handgun, and use a PPS for daily carry.

But damn do I want a P99. It just looks like pure sex.
>>
>>30535781
PPS is a sub-compact, M1911 is a full-sized handgun, treat yourself to some compact goodness.

Plus, seems like you don't have a double stack yet.
>>
I have a P99 SA. Always get compliments by people who use try mine out. The decocker is nice.
>>
>>30534507
Most times I would say go HK, but the vp9 is shit, so go Walther. Glocks are fine, too, but they're nothing special.
>>
>>30536513
True. I'm trying to save money, Anon and you're not helping lol
>>
>>30535781
>>30536694

I have a PPS M2 and my P99 SA has sandpaper grips. It just feels so good in the hand. Sometimes I just hold the gun around the house.
>>
>>30536694
I paid $550 after tax for my P99 AS last December. I've held and fired almost any and every other competing handgun and honestly none compare. The P99 is the best and different than all of them in it's own right.
>>
>>30536738
I do the same with my PPS classic.

>>30536812
Is that the going price for them?
>>
>>30534507
Glock 19. Great aftermarket and just a good do everything pistol. You may venture towards the other ones in the future but I used to hate Glock for aesthetics and then I held one and fell in love.
>>
>>30535565
Ah, yeah, I'm sure Turkish businesses fo nothing but gove their profits to ISIS.

You realize ISIS keeps fucking attacking Turks, right?
>>
Damn it /k/
I was going to buy a P99 last weekend but was waiting till I saved up more money, now you guys are making me want to go buy it right now.
>>
Buttery trigger. The reset on the SA trigger is about 1mm. It's crazy.
>>
>>30534620
If you bought during the rebate everything seems steep.

>tfw NIB USP FS for $650
>>
>>30534507
If you want comfy, go with the P99.

If you want unstoppable reliability with huge aftermarket, and ability to stick bigger mags into the same gun, and caliber change with a slide and mag swap, go Glock.

>VP9
is this even a real question? gtfo and take your fail with you. You want an HK? Get a USPT45 or a USPC40 or USPCT.
>>
VP9 best grip around

OP here. So I ended up going with a Glock 19 again. I missed my old 19 and just wasn't feeling anything else.
>>
>>30537396
In that 3k round video it was pretty impressive how little wear there was.
Now I have to stop at the gun shop after work tomorrow.
>>
>>30537516
That's not bad.
>>
>>30534507
Go for the g19 unless for some reason it feels like dogshit in your hands. Otherwise get the p99 or a ppq. Don't get a vp9, incredible fragile, finicky and overpriced for what they are.
