I took the hunter education course and got my small game tags.
I've bought a cool shotgun and a neat little .22lr rimfire.
I've bought lots of ammo for each.
Then I went to go shooting and came to a horrifying realization: southern Ontario has basically has no crown land on which to shoot. See that massive greyed out area between Windsor in the southwest and Ottawa in northeast? Except for some small parks, that is all privately owned. Which means you need the landowners permission to shoot or hunt on it and even then, municipal bylaws may outright prohibit it.
Worse, the nearest gun range is an hour away and is invite only. I can't even bring them to the USA to shoot because both my shotgun and rifle are short-barrel, and therefore NFA items (despite being non-restricted in Canada).
I don't even know when I'll be able to fire my guns for the first time.

1st: I have never shot a gun. I own an AR, type 54 and a maverick 88, but where I live there is no affordable place to shoot, so I haven't.
2nd: I've been depressed as long as I can remember. I don't think I've ever been happy to be honest. I have no idea what to do.
My father was an alcoholic that drank himself to death by the time I was 7. Never did anything else besides drink a 24 case of natty a day and watch tv. All I remember is that he would always give me little things to fetch him beers and threw a remote at me and gave me a black eye.
Ended up moving to the Midwest at 10 or so. Was fairly happy there, but my mother never let me go out and do things with friends. I had a friend that asked me if I wanted to go out ride some atv's, but after a few times they stopped bothering. Had another one ask me if I wanted to go hunting, I would have liked to but never got the ok.
Ended up sitting in my room playing games or using the computer for 4 or 5 years. I was never that confident, so I never (and still don't) had a girlfriend. Being fat at the time didn't help either
I was always afraid of being judged, so I never expressed any interest in any girls, not even when shooting the breeze with my friends.
I remember a few qt's being flirting a lot, but I was too much of a cuck to see it.
Ended up moving back east at 16, I fought it since it was a bad idea, but it happened anyway.

Since I've graduated, I pretty much just sit in my recliner, sleep in it or work on the house trying to get it ready to sell in order to move south.

chemo sucks, I had to go through stupid intense chemo for AML leukimia, 2-4 agents every 12 hours for 7-12 days per round. And then had to do 4 rounds. Also had to have spinal taps to put chemo in my spinal fluid and I had a central line put in which also sucked. All of that shit was awful I dont even remember a few weeks of my treatment. I tried out the Übermensch schedule a while back. Six hours on, half hour off supposedly training the body to snap into REM sleep instantly. That was a fun couple of weeks.
