Hey can /k/ identify this gun thanks.

that seems to be a goat.
>>
It's clearly an assault pistol.

You can tell by how it's made of advanced black metallic alloys
>>
That's an old thing that comes from South Africa oddly enough. They're not cheap and not too cost effective, but the boer goat still works as an effective assault goat.

I'd probably be a bit more concerned if he hadn't killed it. A dude just walking around putting a revolver to the back of animals heads just for shits and giggles has a few issues.

gotta keep them on their hooves so they don't step out of line, know what i'm saying?

I didn't watch the movie but i read the book, and i specifically remember that they killed Candy's old dog, not a goat.

My assumption was he was showing how to shoot a goat.

Personally I've never killed a goat so I found it educational.

surplus S&W Model 38 Police iirc.

The one USAF Military Police used to use.

That is a 22. caliber remington revolver.
You should be much more humane when slaughtering crop, you asshole

A point blank headshot with a .22 from a 6+ inch barrel is plenty humane enough.
>>
>>30481249

People have been using 22lr on much large animals than this for years.

At point blank range to the brain, it is suitable for large pigs, let alone a little goat.
>>
I can agree this is not very humane. It takes a lot of agony to die from a .22 to the brain, because the brain is shredded over time - many times without losing consciousness. So yes - this guy is a sadistic asshole. Larger calibers in hollow or soft point that result in greater permanent cavitation would be the way to go if you wanted it to be over quickly.

What is a wood splitting maul?

It died a quick death, and a clean one. I hope when my time comes it's as fast.

I was referencing when George kills Lennie, brah.

My uncle had a guy helping him butcher a ram a while back. The guy had brought out his .22 rifle when he couldn't be arsed finding ammo for the special animal killing doodad. Point blank right into the forehead... didn't do jack shit.

.22lr can get decent penetration figures for use against humans at times, but sometimes it takes a good bit more to ensure human killing of animals.
