Ivan and comrad found nice Mosin Nagant at guns markt.
>Did he do good for 160?
>General 91/30 thread
Forcematched serials, however barrel is spotless, stock is smooth. Doest appear to have been shot. No attachable longsword to speak of.

>$160
Not great, but not bad either. You made out okay. Enjoy your rifle
>>30445567
holy shit stop making threads you fucking autist.
I see 2 other threads that are active right now, jeez.
>>30445567 I got this for 175$ everything matches, bayonet included. Perfect barrel, was used way back when, but not much.
>>30446048
nowadays that's a pretty good price. Beautiful rifle btw
>>30446048
Damn. I have a 1916 hexbolt mosin. But I'd love to have a pre 20th century nugget as well
>>30445567
I got my 1938 Izzy for $99 a few years ago from Classic Firearms. I kick myself today for not getting at least 3 to just have around as beater rifles.
>>30446191
He could have done a little better. Not much but a little bit better. It's still an okay deal.

Have another Hex
Where do you guys usually find these guns? I've been looking at local shops online and nobody seems to be carrying them. There's one person in my area selling one on armslist, but it's not a hex which is what I am looking for.

Broaden your horizon man.
Can anyone tell me what my gun would have been doing the year it was made? Or point me in the right direction?
>>30446776
I too have a '28 Izzy Ex-Dragoon.
Well sliced bread was first sold in stores in 1928, so I guess it was working in a bakery.

Happy Nugget Day, Anon.
>>30446685
I'd appreciate some advice on how to do that. I would really rather purchase in person rather than mail order over the internet.
>>30446502
move out of the liberal hellhole you call home

Posting my '39 Tula. No longer my only gun, but holy god she is still my loudest gun.
>Go to 50yd indoor range with two friendos
>One wants to try my Mosina for shits
>Other friend magdumping his yugo like a motherfucker
>Insert stripper clip, feed, remove stripper clip and charge
>BA-FUCKING-LAM
>The raw elemental force of the first shot shakes all the booths, and startles the RO and some fuckhead down the line
>BA-FUCKING-LAM
>That noisy Yugo has now all but disappeared as Mosina has now assumed control of my friend
>BA-FUCKING-LAM
>The downrange wall is visibly shaken as the wrath of winter is aroused and trying to enter the range
>BA-FUCKING-LAM
>Suddenly the spirits of passed Soviet soldiers can be seen charging down the range to the paper
>BA-FUCKING-LAM
>UUUURRRAAAAA! echoes throughout the range as my friend sets the rifle down.
>"Holy fuck I LIKE it!"
I'm sure most of this was just in my head, cuz fuck it's boring when you aren't shooting.
>>30446248
pre 20th century you say
>>30448327

>>30446776
>>30447037
>tfw I have a 1928 dragoon
>>30447037
Don't fucking say "Izzy", you stupid weeb.
>>30446502
It really depends on the gun shop. I got mine today at a gunshop that has a used firearm section on the side. The used gun pile is always shifting. You just gotta find a shop that moves guns often. Also gun shows are a treasure trove if you have any in your area.
Ps - there isnt a massive amount of difference between a hex vs round, except the price.

Thanks m8.
May your rifle serve many livetimes more.
