What would it legally take to make MGs as available as AR-15s in the USA?

Basically this, or in other words ain't fucking happening. The sad part is, if you study the data on NFA items used to commit crimes the numbers are very low. I did all in of this in January once I realized that 41f/41p was going to pass, and I didn't have a single NFA item in my name. It has a been a major pain in the ass for me, when I started I didn't know anything. Silencershop made it a lot easier, but still. Fuck the ATF.
