Any of you have experience with the HK P30?
I love how it feels and fires and strongly considering it for my next pistol.

There's nothing wrong with it. It's a great choice if you like how it feels. Personally, I'd get a P30L over a regular P30.

P30L has a longer slide and barrel. Only difference.

Got my eye on the P30SK.
P30 is gtg. I'd get it in 9mm and light LEM. The P30L has better aesthetics, but there's not a big difference in how they shoot.

It shoots really well, but the grip is for people with big hands who don't like having their pinky finger on the grip. No reason not to get a P2000SK.

The P30SK is pure sex. Went from a Block Grand Block 26 to it for daily carry and am absolutely stunned by how nice it is to carry and shoot. I actually killed a starling with the first bullet I ever fired from it. It was that day she earned the name: Frau Vogelhalt
I had one. Spent like 800 bucks on it and carried it for a while. It didnt last a year. It was weird feeling, i didnt like the grips in amy way shape or form. I didnt like the look after a while, i didnt like the slide, the safety felt weird, the decocker was so gonky that i had to make up a jew term for it. I didnt like shooting it, the rail mounted lights weird as fuck. It wasnt particularly accurate nor better than anyhing else. I disliked the da triggerpull and the sa reset was bonkers. The only thing it had going for it was mag release paddles being amby and in an 11/10 spot that was nice. I traded it for a 1995 usp v2. Best fucking deal ice ever made honetly my usp .40 feels and probably is better in every way. The guy i traded it to told me he grew to dislike it for the same reasons pretty quickly too.
I've owned three P30s over the years: A V1 in .40S&W, a V3 in 9mm, and a P30L V1 in 9mm. I currently only still have the P30L.
I carried the V3 9mm for a while but the grip texture is really abrasive and would either give me a gnarly rash or rip holes in my undershirt if I wore one to try and stop it from rubbing my skin. They fixed this with the grip texture on the P30sk as it has the same kind as the VP9 and is far less abrasive.
The DA/SA trigger is 100% meh in every way, shape and form, which was extremely disappointing because DA/SA USP triggers are fantastic. The V1 trigger I love, but it definitely took a lot of practice to get used to as it's kinda weird, but once you get past the learning curve it's a nice trigger.

I would personally go for the USP. Its one of those designs they just got lucky doing and made everything (or most of it) right. I didn't get a USP because I have a 92fs (4.9" barrel) and p229 (3.9") and P30L is in between em both. So its not service pistol sized and its not very compact so wtf is it. Not as good as beretta (shorter barrel) not as compact and comfy as the p229. The only reason I'd buy an HK is to have the USP which is a legend itself.
