Looking to move out of Texas and go to a pro fun state where I can just set up a range in my backyard and shoot all I like.
Was imagining places near national parks, remote enough to get complete privacy but not too remote to the point conveniences were impossible to find.
Thought of Alaska or Montana, the latter being more preferable.
Your thoughts, /k/? Where would you live if you wanted to be /out/ pretty often as well?

Same. Tenna canyon in the topa topas in so cal, but downside is, it's like a mile down the road from a ranger station, so when they hear shots, you're almost guaranteed to have at least one stop by and size you up

They just stop by and chat with you, usually walk over and kinda eye your setup to see if there are any outright infractions like 30 rounders. Most are fairly bro and will just say what's up, tell you not to shoot anyone or start any fires and tell you to have fun. If they're cocks they might ask what you're shooting and make sure it's unleaded. One time some super doucher checked to make sure my shotgun tube was plugged even though I wasn't hunting "just in case"
