I'm looking to make some changes to my AR and was curious who makes the good flash hiders/muzzle brakes? And also, your opinion on the sexiest one.

What is the best flash hider for use with Gen2 optics?
I was thinking about getting a FAL G1 flash hider and making an adapter to an AR.

M4-72 for best brake.
A2 for best cheap and effective flash hider, there are better for many more dollars.

I have a question about this, I have a Shark comp/break (pic related) and it blows wind in my face, I just got a nice optic for my gun and im going to attach it when the mount comes in the mail, I am worried that the gun will blow shit all over the lens of my scope, so I am looking into getting a new comp maybe
does anyone have any expirence with this

I only know about flash hiders.
A2 for retardedly good value, it's good enough onestly.
Any of the three prong ones for expensive but better.
249f for best but expensive and long.
Also good for 13.7" pin builds.

Strike Industries J-Comp. $30, good recoil reduction, and better flash suppression than A2. Long enough to pin for a 14.5" barrel. Also looks damn good.
Personally I really like the Griffin M4SD Tac Comp. I think it looks great and it's basically an A2, so lots of options.
OP here, I should have mentioned I currently have an A2 on my AR, so any change to it would likely be purely for cosmetic reasons.
