Not really should have bought a maverick 88 if you want to be cheap.
Good choice, save on ammo by keeping it unloaded, the sound of it racking alone is enough to scare off intruders.

Meanwhile the Sun City mfg. shotguns like OPs like to break tge action bars. If I had ~200$ and had to get a nib pump shotgun I'd do Norinco 870> Maverick 88> Sun City 1300 or 37 clone> Anything Turkish.
I heard there are some Russian Baikal shotguns in the price range but I don't know much about them.

Should have gotten a pardner pump (rem 870 clone) if you wanted to be cheap. Everything about it is just pure bliss.
