First what do YOU mean by russian gun?
Designed? The AK is no matter where it is produced.
Produced? There are probably more AKs produced outside of Russia than in so then the AK isn't russian but come on now...
Used by russians? Then you have lots of guns that were designed and at least partly produced outside of Russia starting with the S&W Model 3 (off the top of my head). Even the Nagant isn't very russian by that standard.
I was thinking of making a thread on this, but guess ill ask here. Would the average russian the modern infantry be annoyed if he was suddenly issued a Streyr AUG? Would he prefer his AK over this?
