There's no way Taiwan could hold back a Chinese invasion, no matter how many toys they have. Which doesn't really matter, because China is slowly taking over Taiwan with political and economic influence, not military. Give them the best US tech and it would fall into Chinese hands (which again, probably wouldn't matter because they likely have the blueprints already).

There's always the Iraq option. Hide the entire Taiwanese military within the civilian population, and force the Mainland Chinese to fight an insurgency that they will inevitably approach with the subtlety of a bulldozer.
