I've been reading up on straight pull rifles recently, and I came across pic related. It sounds like a Mauser 98 action, but with straight pull sexiness.
Unfortunately, in further reading, I found that it was designed in 1929, but due to the Great Depression, never made it to actual manufacturing. Tho I think I heard a company in Belgium was going to start producing them.
Any chance of them possibly coming over here for a reasonable price?
Also, what would be the practicality of making a similar design, but updating it, such as adding a Model 70 extractor and maybe safety?

I can't think of a single European made bolt action hunting rifle that is imported for a reasonable price.

It won't be a penny under $1000.

it's not a commercial rifle though.
the fact you don't even know of any commercial European bolt action hunting rifles shows how exclusive they are

Blaser. Now go fuck yourself.

Blaser R3, whatever they call it now. They make a straight pull in both safari & tactical styles.

Sure, but blaser is not reasonably priced if you want to get into the original point.
I'm not even that guy, but he was pretty clear that he was speaking of purpose made hunting rifles. Better off just admitting you were incorrect than act like an assblasted faggot.
