Just stripped the wood stock on my 583 series mini14 down to bare wood. I'm wanting suggestions on what color to refinish it. It's the blued model btw. Pic related is original color more or less.

bear in mind that the finish you choose might end up looking rather different than it does on the pine chips in the OP pic. Idk what wood Ruger uses, but all woods absorb and show stain differently.
The furniture in >>30173747 isn't so beautiful that I would go with a natural stain. A dark walnut stain could be pretty sexy IMO
