Does anyone have one? Know someone with one? Or have been to a range where someone had one and looked at it?
I'm thinking on cerakoting my pistol and I'm wondering if the stuff wears off like paint after a while.
I'm not going to do a pattern but maybe a dark green on the metal part sonly

I've been kind of thinking the same thing, got a new Glock and whatever the fuck they use for the new finish is getting all scuffed up from my kydex holster. Feels like I should buy a police trade in or something with the old finish.
Or cerakote the slide and see if that helps.

None of mine have scuffed up but I wanted to try a dark grey/battleship color slide. But I also have Kydex holsters and if I coat it I don't want to have a shitty worn down the side finish in a couple of weeks.

op cerakote wears like shit. only poorfags would use it, and i know you're not a poorfag. just search for pictures of how it wears and how quickly it wears, especially on guns that get holstered. the only decent aftermarket finish i've seen and had on my gun personally is ion bond.

The problem is when I looked online some were the baked kind and some were not. But now I'm interested in Ion bond. Not seeing if it comes in colors.
