US airforce doesn't need to, never will be and Russians know that. Russia and US has strategic nuclear forces to compete. And since PAK-FA will never face F-22 in combat - they build a stealth multirole, machine with a lot of compromises. Not a designated F-22 killer.

To be fair, US has "won" this race. The only way Russian can compete is by developing their radar system and S-x00 project.

Former US airman here. We can't, its all ogre. I got so terrified when I first saw the T-50/ PAK FA that I immediately went to my nearest commanders office and resigned. He understood my terror as he was also terrified, and resigned with me. To this day I wake in in cold sweat at night, every night thinking about this death machine coming for me and my family.
