>boots for flat feet?

Stop being so overweight that your feet arches give out. I bet your size is in EEE too.
>>
>>30144556
Flat footed here
Jungle boots like those are the fucking worst without thick socks and high arch insoles.
>>
>>30144682
I'm going to be real with you I only weigh like 120lbs
>>
>>30144691
That's what I thought, got my heels cut from the same problem but with like cat work boots
>>
>>30144707
I really don't think you're going to get away with any special pair of boots that were made with flat footed people in mind.
You might just have to bite the bullet like I did and invest in good insoles that can take a beating, arch support socks or strap, and maybe even a thin ankle/foot brace if yours are as severe on mine.
>>
>>30144701
Oh. Always seems like /k/ommandos are either really fat or really skinny.
>>
>>30144682
Not OP but I have flat feet and I'm a skinny fag and D is about right for width

>>30144543
My feet roll really heavily outwards and the only boots I've ever had which remedied it were some Lowa boots they no longer make, the rest I just kind of wear a lot and put up with. Although I've worn boots my whole life so I actually get blisters from footwear which doesn't cover up my whole ankle, go figure
>>
>>30144715
I'm looking more for somethingthat isn't going to tear up my heels.
>>
>>30144750
>Not OP but I have flat feet and I'm a skinny fag and D is about right for width

I usually just assume that any given /k/ommando that I'm replying to is fat...or really fucking skinny DYELs.
>>
>>30144751
If your heel is getting all torn up then what you need is a good pair of high socks and a snugger fitting boot that isn't overly tight.
Any boot will do as long as it "hugs" your foot/heel firmly, flat footed or not.

My father has tons of foot problems, including flat feet, and he's 170 lbs.
>>
Anyone else with flat feet have to wear ankle braces to keep their ankles aligned with their legs?
Doc says I have early arthritis because I've been walking with an angle between my ankles and leg all my life

I have flat feet and I'm 6'4" and 200lbs. I wear some Danner 453s and some Merrell MOAB mids. The Merrells have good insoles to begin with and the danners I have added the Dr Scholls custom fit insoles that are magic.
>>
Merrel MOAB

Top operator choice.

Also buy appropriate insoles if your feet are fucked
>>
>>30144543
Shit if I know.

Same problem though, sucks to suck.
>>
>>30144751
If you have haglunds deformity which is the protrusion on the back of your heel you definitely need to do double socks or really thick boot socks. I have it on just my right foot and its a real pain in the ass.
>>
>>30144560
Sure, Let me try that

...okay, not only do my feet not arch yet but my toes are currently broken.
>>
>>30144744
this is the truth. im 6'5" and weigh 155 lbs
>>
>>30144543
For light hiking style, merrell moab

For heavy backpacking, danner(anything that is 6+ inches tall and american made) for example explorers

For dressy casual, wolverine 1000 mile boots(i use these for dress and casual, and have walked comfortably in them doing 10 miles a day when i worked photography in europe)

For tactical wear, garmont t8(these were the most comfortable and longest lasting boots ive worn when i was in the army. Survived a shitty deployment to afg, and a year of walking and running on concrete for another year without the tread wearing out. Plus has good support for ankles and feet for wide and flat feet)

>>

>>
>>30144543
Anything with good comfortable ankle support that you can put orthotic/aftermarket insoles in.
>>
>>30144744
Idk man, I'm a fit 6'2'' 205lb

Drop 500$ at the podiatrist and get orthotic inserts written off by your health plan at 80%

That's what I did.

I mean, seriously, they tell you to go see a dentist twice a year, get a physical every 5, see the eye docter ever couple of years, but no one, no one ever reccommends that you go see the podiatrist. Hell, I should get my ass checked for cancer after 35, but not my feet?
>>
>>30144556
Great for stomping QUEERS
>>
I would look into some offerings by Lowa.
>>
>TFW I'm a 6'4 237 lb flat footed sasquatch
Definitely never gonna be able to sneak up on anybody, but I like my Rocky Alpha Forces.
I throw my feet real bad too when I walk and they've held up well for glued soles.

I'll second the recommendation for inserts, but I'd start with stock before going custom. Check out Sole Custom Footbeds--you stick 'em in the oven to soften them up and then stand in them to mold them to your feet. Powerstep are also pretty good.
